Musing Mondays

Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…
• Describe one of your reading habits.
• Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
• What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!
• Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren't) enjoying it.
• Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!
• Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!
Hosted by Should Be Reading

It's monday and I'm not making a dent on my reading challenge. I'm a little embarrassed that I'm failing at my challenge. I really want to be ahead darn it. I'm thinking of cheating and reading a bunch of novellas or picture books with the little one to get ahead.

Challenges I still need to read a few books for this month.

Taken at Dusk by C.C. Hunter (Goodreads)
Whispers at Moonrise by C.C. Hunter (Goodreads)
Saved at Sunrise by C.C. Hunter (Goodreads)
Chosen at Nightfall by C.C. Hunter (Goodreads)
No Ones Angel by Kelly Walker (Goodreads)
Crossing the Line by Katie McGarry (Goodreads)
Welcome to Rosie Hopkins' Sweetshop of Dreams by Jenny Colgan (Goodreads)

What do you have on your calendar for the rest of the month?
