Today I'm reading
No One's Angel by Kelly Walker
(Goodreads)

A little shudder goes through me, but I’m not sure if it’s fear or anticipation. I want so badly to be touched by him. I crave it like a junkie after her next fix. And like the junkie, I shouldn't want something so bad for me, because I know being touched means pain. But his voice was gentle, giving me a small ray of hope. I nod, then hold my breath. His finger softly glides across my lip. “You’ve got a bit of ketchup right here.”

  I don’t, and I’m sure of it.

“I’m going to kiss it off of you.” He pauses, waiting again.

If my heart beats any faster it will turn itself inside out. I tilt my chin up toward him, telling myself I want this, because I do. I wanted it to be real every time we flirted in game, but it wasn’t. Is it now?

He dips the tip of his finger in the ketchup, then lightly touches it to my mouth. I can’t help it. My tongue flicks out, licking the last of the ketchup off his finger. He tastes like salt and heaven. And he’s definitely real.

I thought this was a perfect swoon for a cold winter day. I'm only 40% in but it's good so far, one of those books that's hard to put down.

Today I'm reading
Much Ado About Nothing by C.E. Wilson (Goodreads)

My Swoon

“I’ll agree with that,” Bennett said, kissing the top of her head.   God he loved the smell of lavender and sage.   “You and I, we really are too smart to be paired up together.   Are you sure you want to do this again with me?”
 “What do you mean?”
“You know what I mean, Beatriz,” Bennett said, squeezing her carefully.   “I did a horrible thing to you.   I don’t necessarily deserve your forgiveness.”
“Damn straight you don’t,” she said.   “But for you to admit that it was a horrible thing, I’ll give you credit for that.   Many men out there would never admit they were wrong in the first place.”

It's not all steamy but it makes me heart beat faster. I loved Much Ado About Nothing by the man himself Shakespeare but So far C.E. Wilson's might steal the spotlight.

A little late but better late than never.
This week I read My Own Mr. Darcy by Karey White (Goodreads) Review to come for tour. Keep your eyes opened.

I have a almost swoon and a swoon this week I wanted to share.

Almost swoon

I wondered if they’d kiss. I wanted them to kiss. The anticipation of it all was killing me and I considered asking mom how it would end just to ease my mind, but I couldn’t let her know how much I was enjoying this movie she’d had to drag me to. Mr. Darcy leaned in so close I don’t know how they didn’t kiss. His feelings were so obvious in his eyes I don’t know how Elizabeth could stand it.

And then Elizabeth refused him. How could she? Just kiss her! She’d be putty in his hands if he’d just kiss her. But he didn’t and when he left and she collapsed against the wall, I wanted to cry.

My Swoon

“He was.” We were quiet for a moment. I looked down at my hand on Chad’s arm. It had been a mistake to put it there. I wanted to do right by Chad and it was getting harder and harder to keep things light and casual. I meant to move my hand. I really did. And then I didn’t have to, because Chad moved both of his hands. One arm still rested on the table but the other came up behind my neck, under my hair. Slowly he pulled me close. I could have pulled away, but I didn’t. Instead I let him kiss me. Even then, I meant to pull away, but my heart was racing and his lips felt so nice I didn’t want to move. So I kissed him back instead. And then he rested his forehead against mine, his hand still behind my neck and told me I was amazing. So I put my arms around him and kissed him again.

It's really hard to pick a few sentences.
This little exchange I thought was swoon worthy. I planned on having this post up Thursday but it's been busy.
On the Edge
by Ilona Andrews

He said it matter-of-factly, as if that were the most ordinary thing in the world. He ran into a house full of monsters to save people to whom he didn't owe anything. "I wish there were some way I could repay you," she said, wiping her hands.

"There is."

She looked up. "What can I do for you?"

"You could kiss me, Rose."

She froze, the kitchen towel in her hands, sure she had misheard.

"Surely, I deserve one kiss for saving your brother."

"Why would you want me to kiss you?"

"I want to know what you taste like." A slow smile stretched his lips. "Don't tell me you haven't thought of it."

She had thought of it, but she would die before admitting it. "Can't say I have."

"One kiss," he said. "Or are you scared?"

That same delicious terror that she felt whenever she thought about touching Declan made it completely impossible for her to move. "Not at all," she lied.

"Then kiss me."

Here was her chance. She could kiss him free of guilt without admitting anything. She wouldn't get another opportunity like that. If she lived to be a hundred and stayed the entire time in the Edge, at least she would be able to say that in her young and wild days, she'd kissed a crazy blueblood from the Weird. She was daring, right? Wasn't that what daring women did?

Rose closed the distance between them and rested her own palms on the table between his hands and his sides. If he brought his arms in, he could trap her. It should've made her more cautious, but it didn't. She was running along the edge of one of Declan's blades. One misstepcautious, but it didn't. She was running along the edge of one of Declan's blades. One misstep, and she would fatally cut herself. And she liked it.

It's just a kiss. Stop making a huge deal out of it.

She leaned close to Declan. Their lips were a mere inch apart.

Declan's eyes were terribly green. Like a grass blade with the sun shining through it.

"I'm going to kiss you because you saved my brother," she murmured. "For no other reason."

"Duly noted," he said.

She leaned another quarter inch forward. Their lips almost touched.

"This is so very wrong," she murmured. Her whole body strummed with anticipation.

He leaned his head to her, his voice low. "It's only a kiss. It's not as if I'm asking you to do something... indecent."

He certainly looked as if he would like to do something indecent. She licked her lips and kissed him.

He opened his mouth and let her in. Her tongue found his. She stroked it gently and realized Declan held back, keeping himself under tight control. Suddenly she wanted to make him lose his mind, for no other reason than to prove to him that she could. She attacked his mouth. Her tongue darted in and out, her touch light and quick, teasing, never giving him a taste. Declan growled low in his throat, a purely animal sound that made her want to press against him.

She felt the precise moment when his patience finally snapped.

His arms caught her and pulled her to him. He kissed her back, thrusting his tongue into her mouth, drinking her in. Her head spun. He tasted like a drug. Heat blossomed in her chest and rolled down. Her body ached to be touched.

Another moment, and she would strip naked for him.

Rose pulled back. His arms held on to her, but she took a step back, and he released her. "Was that decent enough, Lord Camarine?"

He looked at her like he was about to pounce. "Quite."

"I thought I had to make the kiss memorable," she told him. "It's your reward, after all."
She was burning up. The air around her had turned viscous like glue. She had to gulp it to get any into her lungs.

Declan was having some issues coping with the sudden distance between them. His pants failed to mask a large bulge.

"I better go get some air," she said, turning away from him.

"Wait." She sensed him looming behind her. He leaned in, brushed her hair out of the way, and gently kissed the back of her neck.

A shiver ran down her spine.

He slid one arm across her shoulders and chest, above her breasts, pulling her to him. "Rose," he whispered into her ear, probably fully aware of what effect that small word had on her when he said it. His other hand caught her waist, trapping her. "Stay."

He kissed her neck again, and it took all of her will not to rub her back against him like a kitten eager for a stroke. Oh, get ahold of yourself. Don't be melting for him - that's exactly what he wants.

"Nice kiss," she heard herself say. "But no thanks."

She took his hands off her body. "You still have two challenges," she reminded him and escaped through the house onto the porch.

Shudder
by Samantha Durante
(Goodreads)

Isaac turned toward Alessa.  His blue eyes shone in the light of the fire as he lay propped on his side, his long lean body mirroring hers, a soft piece of tawny hair that had dropped forward on his forehead casting flickering shadows on his face.  Alessa swept the strands from his eyes and trailed her fingers down the side of his jaw.  Bringing her mouth to his soft warm lips, she closed her eyes and let the day’s tensions melt away in the heat of his body.
He kissed her back with intensity, sliding his hands down the small of her back and pulling her close, the electricity buzzing between them.  Alessa gasped at the feel of his body against hers, releasing a soft moan as he traced the line of her chin and then her neck with kisses.  Her body shivered with anticipation.
Holding his face in her hands, she gazed deep into the sparkling oceans of his eyes, the ravages of the storm outside utterly forgotten.  “I missed you, Isaac Mason,” she murmured.
Isaac rolled over suddenly, pinning her beneath him as she pulled her legs tight around his waist.  The reflection of the flames danced in his eyes as if he were lit from within.  He grinned wickedly.
“Oh, Less,” he growled.  “I haven’t even begun to remind you what you’ve been missing.”

My swoon this week is from
Collide by Shelly Crane (Goodreads)

I love sweet innocent love. It makes me swoony.

It was freezing again so without asking or waiting for an invitation I pulled up Merrick’s arm and placed myself under. I heard a chuckle from the back seat but Merrick just tightened his grip on me and kissed my forehead, which was the only kiss I'd ever received from him.

It felt wonderful, warm and protective, leaving a tingle behind. I couldn't help but smile into Merrick’s arm.

My swoon this week is from
Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout
(Review)

Heavy footsteps came from the other side, and then the door was swinging open and I was staring at a very broad, tan, well-muscled chest. A naked chest. My gaze dropped and my breath sort of…stalled. Jeans hung low on his hips, revealing a thin line of dark hair that formed below his navel and disappeared under the band of the jeans.
His stomach was ripped. Perfect. Totally touchable. Not the kind of stomach I expected on a seventeen-year-old boy, which is how old I suspected he was, but yeah, I wasn’t complaining. I also wasn’t talking. And I was staring.

My gaze finally traveling north again, I noted thick, sooty lashes fanning the tips of his high cheeks and hiding the color of his eyes as he looked down at me. I needed to know what color his eyes were.
“Can I help you?” Full, kissable lips turned down in annoyance.
His voice was deep and firm. The kind of voice accustomed to people listening and obeying without question. His lashes lifted, revealing eyes so green and brilliant they couldn’t be real. They were an intense emerald color that stood out in vibrant contrast against his tan skin.

“Hello?” he said again, placing one hand on the doorframe as he leaned forward. “Are you capable of speaking?”

My swoon this week is from

Becoming Bryn by Angela Carling

Without a trace of noise, the washcloth fell to the floor and with his now free hands he cupped my face in his warm fingers and purposefully brought his lips to mine. At first the kiss was soft, like butterfly wings delicately brushing across my lips. The connection sent an electric sensation through my body, teasing me of more to come. After the first cautious kisses, something inside of me broke free and reckless abandon took over.

I love the chemistry between the two.

Just when I thought the kiss couldn't get any hotter, she tilted her head to the side and ran the tip of her talented tongue over the roof my mouth. Where the hell did she learn to do that? I couldn't stop the moan even if I wanted to.

I just finished reading Potion Passion by Mary Beth Daniels it has smexy characters and steamy moments.
(Goodreads)(Review

The electric charge jolted through me one more time, as powerful as it had ever been. "That is the second." His face was so close to mine that his words were a breath across my cheek. One of the factions battling in my head gave way, and I arched toward him, wanting him to touch me too, and our lips met again.
This time, I felt the heady dizziness I remembered from before. Caleb reached around and threaded his hand beneath my sweater, shocking my system a second time and completing the circuit, a bolt that fizzed through us like a fuse, spine to head to mouth to chest, touching every tingly part of me.
I rolled tightly against him without any thought of Rah, or the Goldens, or getting caught, or what ritual we might be on or how enchanter babies were made. I wanted all of him, every bit, and surely the world would not interrupt us again.
Caleb must have sensed I had reengaged, as he pulled my sweater up and away, tucking it under my head like a pillow.
"You couldn't have conjured a bed?" I asked.
"If that's what you want."
The grass was fragrant and cool, the earth beneath it not hard but spongy, like a soft mat. "No, you made this spot perfect." I brushed my fist against his jaw. "I bet you bring all the enchanter girls here."
He got perfectly solemn then and shook his head. "Just you. There was never anyone but you."
