Preorder Alert

Captive Omega from Ember L. Nicole is releasing July 31st! Have you preordered this emotional omegaverse?

Blurb:

I was an omega in heat.

One wrong choice.

And I lost everything.

For two years, I’ve longed to flee my cage. Alphas bought me, traded me, and constantly abused me. They taught me the only good alpha is a dead alpha. Now, I'm a pregnant omega with no hope of escape until one desperate act changes everything.

It was going to be me against the world until Lucas Security hurtled into my life. I have never met three men more determined to protect me. But it’s going to take more than two delicious smelling alphas to convince me I can trust them, or a handsome beta on a mission to impress me.

Garrison, Blaine, and Vaughn have nothing I want. They seem to have a default mode set to guard me, and they drop everything to take me to doctor’s appointments. But I know better. This world has taught me to rely only on myself. Trouble is hunting me down, and if I want to survive, I might just have to put my faith in Pack Lucas.

I’ve spent years learning to keep people out. So why do I keep wanting to let them in?

Happy Release Day! Book Review: So This is War

Title -
So This Is War
Author - Meghan Quinn
Genre - Hockey Romance
Format - Arc-ebook
Publication date: June 25th 2024
Buy it on (Amazon
Add to your shelf (Goodreads)

Synopsis
From USA Today and Amazon Charts bestselling author Meghan Quinn, comes a new coach’s daughter, workplace, forbidden standalone sports romance featuring the hockey men you can’t get enough of. This steamy, roommates-to-lovers romantic comedy will bring all the laughs while burning up the pages at the same time.

Did I think I was going to fall for my coach's daughter?

The answer would be no.

I'm still unclear on how I got into this predicament in the first place. A year ago, I was a man with one thought on his mind, the redhead I met at a hotel bar. Twelve months later, I found her.

Unfortunately for me, she not only happens to be my very off-limits coach's daughter, but also . . . my new assistant and roommate.

I don't even need an assistant, but Coach Wood doesn’t take no for an answer. Add in him writing up tasks for his daughter, Wylie, to complete for me? Well, it's his own form of sweet torture. We are talking tasks that I would never ask her to do.

Tasks that make her despise me.

Hate me.

That make her utter four words that cause a shiver to crawl up my spine . . . Posey, this is war.

Review

I received So This Is War in return for an honest review from Hambright PR in return for an honest review.

I adore Wylie she's just a sweetheart but it's Levi who stole the show. They are so perfect for each other as they both try to fight the connection that they have. I loved the banter between them, and internal monolog that Levi tends to do it just perfect. The characters are great you can't help connecting with them and cheering them on through the whole story. I kind of love the Queens text chat it had me giggling and I can't totally picture them reacting to the messages.

I admit that I have read the prior books but I don't feel that affected the story at all. If anything I can't wait to explore the prior stories now that I have a little insight into some of the team. I devoured this one in just two afternoons it was hard to put down and I couldn't wait to see what mission for bagels Wylie would be sent on this time. This book is steamy but it's balanced so perfectly among the beautifully written story.

This is actually my first Meghan Quinn book and I'm obsessed with her writing style. She's created engaging characters to fall in love with and a story that stole my heart. I truly enjoyed her storytelling she's done an amazing job creating a world I want to live in. I'm just so I'm so glad I took the chance with this one because she has a whole selection for me to discover. I'm new to Meghan Quinn but I'm addicted and I already have the first in the series on my kindle ready to go.

Review

I received Dragon Den in return for an honest review from The Nerd Fam.

I love Markus willing to do anything to get a dragon and stay with the girl he's in love with at the academy. Even take a undercover mission to find the group stealing obsidian. As this book is the dragon version of The Fast and the Furious with the dragon rider twist. I loved the way that Markus connects with Loki they have this mind connection that allows them to feel each other and talk.

I loved Dragon Den it's one of the best dragon stories I've read in ages plus I love the inspiration of one of my favorite movies. This is a fast paced action packed story that I couldn't put down, and ended up devouring in just two sessions. The characters are easy to connect with you can't help cheering Markus and Loki on as they try to find out the truth.

This is my first book by the author but I'm obsessed I loved every moment of Dragon Den it's exactly what I hoped for and when I finished the last page I had chills. This is the start to an amazing fresh series perfect for fans of Fourth Wing and action movies. The story is captivating right from the start and kept me hooked till the very end. I can't wait for the next book in the series as the author exceed my expectations with this one.

Happy Release Day! Dead of Summer

Release Date: June 19

Camp Friends Are Forever Friends

Or so the motto of Camp Crestview says.

Having been a camp counselor for the last three summers, I can handle most situations that come my way courtesy of rowdy children. This year shouldn’t be any different, even with a new counselor who’s everyone’s type and too good to be true. But even so, Kayde Lane is nothing I can’t deal with.

Until I stumble upon him at night with an ax and sinister intentions towards the campers we're meant to protect

Unable to let him kill anyone, I strike a dangerous bargain with Kayde, only to realize the true extent of his darkness. With every demand he makes, pushing me to the brink of my moral boundaries, I'm torn between survival and the haunting allure of his control.

As the nights pass and Kayde's demands escalate, I find myself teetering on the edge of sanity, questioning my own desires and the twisted games he plays with my mind.

Seven nights are all I need to survive with Kayde, and if I can do that, everyone lives.

If I can believe the words of a serial killer obsessed with breaking me, that is.

Dead of Summer is a 110k+ word dark romance M/F standalone. It features a possessive, over the top hero and themes that not all readers may appreciate, and may be triggering to some. For a full list of TWs, please see the author's note.

Synopsis

These aliens are looking for refuge… and mates. Would you deny them?

Lance

Living in Alaska has brought me closer to my roots, but also keeps me rooted in the same small town as my toxic ex-girlfriend.

A trip to Cancun, Mexico is starting to look like the perfect breath of fresh air. But when I meet a girl on the beach who says we’re mates, things start to get a little weird.

And that’s not all; she says she’s from outer space and was sent to Earth along with twenty-nine other aliens to await her planet's rebirth.

Talk about an unforgettable vacation.

Georgia

Being a beta in a lycan pack isn’t as glamorous as it looks. Especially when you’re the runt of a pack living on a planet experiencing the Great Mating Ceasement. It makes me unnecessary, insignificant, a throwaway.

But on Earth, I can be more than that. So when the opportunity arises, I say to hell with my pack and make a break for it.

I thought hours of pawing through forest floors were in my future; who knew I would actually find a mate, would actually be worthy of one.

Now all I have to do is keep him.

“Mine to Claim” is the first book of the Desperately Depraved series following a pod of refugee aliens searching for connection on Earth. It’s great for Kimberly Lemming and Ruby Dixon readers, as well as anyone looking for something short and spicy. This novella contains adult language and sex scenes. Please see the author's website for content warnings.

Review

I received Mine to Claim in return for am honest review from the author.

Georgia has joined a mission to earth where those from her planet are hoping to find their mates and eventually maybe one day return back to their home planets. I loved Georgia she's a sweetheart who's just looking for a place to belong. I was so glad when she ditched her pack and took off with a rag tag group for warmer weather. Lance is perfect for her he's got his own issues but when they have a chance encounter it's instant steamy chemistry.

I devoured Mine to Claim in just under a hour it's a quick fast paced whirlwind romance. I loved the characters they Georgia and Lance are perfect and I love that he embraced her alien side so much. I might have a slight addiction to alien romance and this one was perfect. My only complaint is when I turned the last page and wanted more.

This is my first book by the author and I'm addicted. I loved every moment of Georgia and Lance's story it's beautifully written and captivating. I can't wait to continue the series when the next one comes out and find out who's next. A perfect steamy quick alien romance highly recommend.
