One day, a super-hot celebrity named Kaede shows up at Hinana's high school to shoot a movie, and it becomes difficult to keep up her act. By pure chance -- or y'know, fate! -- Kaede reveals his own ridiculous personality to Hinana, and her ordinary life turns breathtakingly romantic! Or just really, really... weird?!

Manga Monday

It's Manga Monday!

Day 8 of #FMSPAD is #FMS_MINIMALISM & Manga Monday

I’m attempting to cut down the stuff I put on my bullet journal layout. So I can go with a more minimalist layout. I’m attempting to streamline it. I love a minimal layout just to start the week.

I’m currently starting a new series that I rented from Libby it's my new obsession.

When Will Arum Make His Move by Soichiro Yamamoto

Grab it on here (here)

Yaotome's the president of the shogi club at her high school, and she's pretty sure that Ayumu, an underclassman and the only other member of the club, has a huge crush on her. They get together to play shogi every day after school, but no matter what she does, she can't seem to get him to confess his feelings! What she doesn't know is that Ayumu has made a pact with himself to reveal his love only after he's beaten Yaotome at shogi for the first time. Yet there's one big issue with this plan... he really sucks!

Exasperated by Takane’s immature attitude, yet amused and intrigued despite herself, Hana wonders if her hilarious rivalry with Takane just might lead to love!

Review

I devoured the series over the course of a couple of months. Took a little longer than I hoped because a few of them decided to take forever from Amazon. Hana ends up roped into taking her older sisters place in a marriage match never expecting that anything would come from it. Instead a we get a very sweet comical whirlwind romance between her and Takane.

I ended up reading the first one and instantly ordering the rest of them it's such a cute series kind of a enemies to lover romance between them. I loved Hana she's an adorable character and I think because of her I'm going to do bubblegum pink hair next. Each manga has the pair growing as characters. Takane had a lot of growing to do but he get's there eventually.

The artwork is as equally lovely as the story. I was captivated right from the start and fell in love with Hana and Takane's story. This is one of my favorite series that I'm so glad I purchased the set. They will always have a special place on my bookshelf and I know they will get some re-reads as I wasn't ready to say goodbye just yet. I plan to read the authors other manga as I loved this one so much. Highly recommend a perfect sweet romance.

Manga Monday

 Manga Monday

I'm currently reading Horimiya by HERO & Daisuke Hagiwara with a friend of mine who's never read a manga before. This is his first taste of them and already he's hooked on them. I've actually seen the anime on Hulu before picking this one for us. I thought he would enjoy it and he is. Of course I read way faster so he is always playing catch up. He's not far behind.

I'm always looking for someone to buddy read the books I enjoy so I was thrilled when he decided to give these a shot. Plus I love having someone too talk to about my growing manga addiction.
