As the vampire princess of the Night Court it's my duty to choose my human consort and make him my prince. For two weeks I'll be in a paradise with four human men, all willing to be mine.
All I have to do is choose one to crown.
I never expected to fall in love.
Not with one.
Certainly not with all of them.

Felicity is the future ruler of the vampires. She may be a princess but she hasn't left her home until now. She's going to spend time on the island with four potential future prince's, during that time she will get to know them all and pick just one to be crowned. However, after arriving on the island it's clear that picking just one will be way harder than she expected as she finds herself falling in love with them all. Will she be able to pick just one?

I like Felicity she has this sweet innocent about her which I found refreshing for a vampire princess. I wasn't sure, to be honest about her love interests as they are each different but maybe that's why they all work so well together. As the book progressed they grew on me it was just as hard to pick one for her as they all are emotionally invested and have everything to lose. I'm curious to see how this is going to work out.

I'm a huge fan of the Reverse Harem concept so when I saw this one on my kindle I had to give it a shot. It's a serial which means several small parts to create one book. This is the first installment in the serial and I enjoyed every moment of it. I found it hard to put down and didn't until I had finished the story. I even start the second one because I had to know what was going to happen next. The author has created a beautiful steamy story loaded with romance, a little mystery and lots of steamy moments between Felicity and her men. Highly recommend checking it out.

Add in the most infamous Matchmaker in the Universe, Gerri Wilder.

Stir in said Love Guru’s nephew to help in her devious plan, a hot-as-Hades Lion, who needs a mate more than he needs a chocolate chip cookie.

Let the above bake until hot and steamy and add a dash of evil bad guy.

Now, that’s a recipe for love everyone can get behind.

Part of Milly Taiden’s Paranormal Dating Agency Kindleworld

Connie's best friend has moved to be with her mate in another pack. Cyndi has started a new life but left Connie behind and she's struggling to find her place in the pack. When it's suggested maybe she needs a change and living in town might just be what she needs she jumps at the chance. Living in town will keep her close to her parents but give her the change she needs to find herself. Connie has found the perfect apartment she just needs to find a job and that seems to land right in her lap working the bakery. Connie finds more than just a job at the bakery as she learns that the owner just happens to be her mate.

I love Connie she was willing to do anything to help out her friend which I think is wonderful. She may be a werewolf but I found her to be very girl next door and paired with a stubborn shapeshifter it just works. They have the instant love chemistry I expected when a matchmaker is using her gift to bring them together. I really enjoyed reading Connie's happy ever after as we get to know her in the first one. The author has done a great job creating a fast-paced steamy story that is hard to put down. I finished it in one sitting because I had to know how it would end.

When Mitch Mackay arrives at the Silver Streak Pack, he’s not happy. He should be at his Alpha’s side hunting rogues, not on some obviously made up visit to the Pack Healer. That is until he scents her…his one, his only: his soul-mate. The only trouble is…she’s as skittish as a wild horse and as innocent as a new-born lamb, and the first thing she does is ups and faints on him. Shoot. Can he convince her that he’s the Cougar for her Wolf? Or will her fear take over and make her run from their one chance at happiness?

And that’s if they survive when rogues attack the camp at the worst possible moment: when the Alpha and his men are away hunting to clear the land of the very scourge that threatens their future and their lives.

Book 1 in A K Michaels’ Silver Streak Pack full of excitement, paranormal romance, and Shifter hotness! Another addition to the steamy hot Paranormal Dating Agency! Grab your copy now and curl up with Mitch Mackay, a scorching hot Cougar who’s sure to set your kindle aflame.

Connie decides it's time for her best friend to have love in her life. So she sends an email to the shifter matchmaker offering everything even to be her slave if she can help her friend. Finding love for Cyndi isn't the only thing on her mind, as rogue wolves have been stirring up trouble locally. The whole pack is on alert and while they are off hunting the rogue wolves a stranger shows up at the pack. He's been sent by his alpha to speak with the pack healer but it's clear that something else is on the agenda when he see's Cyndi.

I like Cyndi she's this sweet girl next door type and Mitch is this powerful alpha shifter. They have this sizzling chemistry it's instant love but when you are shifters and meet your mate it just works that way. I'm not a huge fan of instant love but when you have a matchmaker pulling all the strings just right it takes all the work out. Her Purr-Fect Surprise is a fast-paced steamy read perfect for a quick read. This is my first book by the author I truly enjoyed every page. The concept was interesting and the characters are easy to connect with.

Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating. In my case not so patiently waiting for the new releases, which I lack.

I have a long list of books I can't wait to get my hands on. I'm terrible when it comes to waiting. This weeks book is one that I'm anxious to get my hands on as I feel like I've been waiting forever.

My Choice this week is

They are the wild and the broken. The werewolves too damaged to live safely among their own kind. For their own good, they have been exiled to the outskirts of Aspen Creek, Montana. Close enough to the Marrok’s pack to have its support; far enough away to not cause any harm.

With their Alpha out of the country, Charles and Anna are on call when an SOS comes in from the fae mate of one such wildling. Heading into the mountainous wilderness, they interrupt the abduction of the wolf–but can’t stop blood from being shed. Now Charles and Anna must use their skills–his as enforcer, hers as peacemaker–to track down the attackers, reopening a painful chapter in the past that springs from the darkest magic of the witchborn…

As I approach the edge of the winding river less than a minute’s walk from my cottage, it’s like someone has injected me with life. With a lift of my chin, I close my eyes and inhale until I’m no longer dulled and disoriented. Everything becomes clear. In Balsam Grove, I breathe the air with new lungs, feel the breeze with new skin, and see the land through new eyes.

I don’t try to navigate my way. I hike beside the river, around every curve and bend, uphill and against the current. It’s a familiar path, but my focus isn’t on the destination. Every now and then I stop to take a drink from the stream, pluck a fiery pink flower, and tune into a wild animal scampering across fallen leaves. But it’s not until I reach a steeper incline that I take a moment to assess where I’m headed.

The river has significantly increased in speed since I began walking a few minutes ago. A steeper incline forces me to distance myself from the water’s edge, onto a more manageable path through the woods. My thighs burn from the steady climb, and my throat aches from dehydration. I never planned to journey this far, but I could have at least thought to bring water. I’m ready to turn back, find the river, and drink from it when I spot the top of a familiar red house peeking over the hill. Hummingbirds unleash in my chest as I inch forward.

Mere seconds later, I’m standing on flat land again, taking in the two-story home that overlooks a waterfall, an old millhouse beside it. It’s like it came out of nowhere, but this house—it’s home to some of my best memories, my biggest dreams, and the beginning of the horrible nightmare that ended life as I knew it.

“Ah, that’s my girl,” a voice booms in the distance. “Bring it here, Lacey.”

Shit. Jaxon?

My eyes sweep left, to the source of the river. Two waterfalls coming from different directions spill into one body of water where Jaxon treads. He’s patting the water as Lacey paddles over with a stick in her mouth.

Jaxon takes the stick, then rubs her head before she continues paddling to the edge of the river. After she climbs out and does a full body shake to dry off, he tosses the stick to the side and turns back to the water, swimming lap after lap until I’ve lost count. Every powerful stroke reveals inches of well-cut muscle and betrays his familiarity with the water.

Jaxon always loved everything about the water. Diving, swimming, fishing…sex. I shiver at the memory of how well our slick bodies fit together. Of his delicate fingers stripping me of my bikini top so he could see all of me as he inched his way into my body, my heart. Of his hot mouth wrapping around my pebbled nipple just to hear my whispered cry. Of the way he watched me with hooded eyes as I came for him, my back pressed against a boulder and the plunging falls above us swallowing my cries.

He took everything good from me, but it was me that handed it over for the taking.

He’s still mesmerizing, and I can’t take my eyes off him now. With every stroke, I imagine him swimming away from me, away from our past and deeper into the rushing swell of the stream. How long has he been swimming? How far?

I swallow my anxiety as he finally breaks from his exercise to catch his breath. When he does, I’m as breathless as he is.

I’m not sure how long I’ve been staring when he uses the slick rocks to pull himself from the water, but I’m completely captivated by the droplets coursing down his naked back and arms. He’s all strength and agility, effortlessly pulling himself to his feet. I should turn away, but I don’t. Instead, I watch as water glides from his long hair, down his narrow waist, and then over the most beautiful ass I’ve ever seen.

Is he…?

I gasp, my hand clapping over my mouth. But it’s too late. One slip of my breath is all it takes for Lacey’s snout to jerk in my direction and sound off the first menacing growl.

“You are mine for the next two weeks.”

Resigning might be the sexiest thing she’s ever done…

Quitting her job puts executive assistant Bette Monroe in a very compromising position. She has ten days left, and powerhouse lawyer Simon Kramer is working her late into the night…and seducing her into oblivion! While he’s convinced she’s selling business secrets, the bombshell secret she’s keeping would shock him more. Does she bare all…or keep him guessing?

“So then more money will get you to stay,” he said dismissively, as if he’d closed a case. He tossed her crumpled-up resignation letter into the brass trash can sitting beside his desk.

Frustration—and not just with this conversation—overwhelmed her, overcoming her natural inclination to avoid confrontation, and she blurted out, “No!”

Working for him these past two years had increased her frustration because of all those damn fantasies he’d inspired.

“But you just said—”

“I took the job because I needed money,” she said. “I needed money then.”

His eyes narrowed more as he studied her face. “And you don’t need it now?”

“My reason for leaving has nothing to do with money,” she said. Had she not found another source of income, she would have been forced to stay, but he didn’t need to know that.

“So you do have a reason.”

He wasn’t the trial lawyer of their partnership, but he could have been. She felt like she was being cross-examined on the witness stand. And she didn’t enjoy it one bit. Quitting was not a crime.

“I don’t have to give you a reason.” At least she didn’t think she did.

Maybe she should have had a lawyer look at that employment contract before she’d written her resignation letter. But no matter how much she paid, no lawyer would be as good as Simon Kramer. He was the best.

And, according to his ex-lovers, not just at the law...

“Why don’t you want to tell me?” he asked, and he stepped closer now, so close that she could feel the heat of his body through his suit and her cardigan and skirt.

Heat flushed her body, making her skin tingle. She tried to step back but the desk stopped her, the hard wood pressing into the backs of her thighs as he nearly touched the front of her. Her breasts pushed against the front of the gray cardigan as she struggled for breath. She had never been this close to him before. It was more than unsettling. Her knees trembled and her already tripping pulse quickened even more.

“Because it’s personal,” she murmured. And they had never been anything but businesslike with each other, except in her dreams.

He leaned down, so close that his warm breath whispered across her lips as he asked, “Are you in love with me?”

I received Legal Seduction in return for an honest review from the publisher.

Simon is one of 4 managing partners at the legal firm Street Legal and while things should be amazing someone is selling secrets but he's not sure who. When the silent alarm is tripped he rushes off from the bar to see if he can find out who is the mole. What he finds is not what he expected to find.

Bette is ready for a new start away from Street Legal and when she saw her boss at the bar she decided it was the perfect time to leave her resignation letter with her two weeks notice. Determined to find out if Bette is the mole he refuses to just let her go until he knows what secret she is hiding. Over the next two weeks, Simon will do what it takes to find the truth even crossing the line to seduce Bette. Can she make it through the two weeks before Simon breaks down her walls and learns who she really is?

I like Bette she's sweet small town girl in the city doing what she has to do to achieve her dreams. I honestly didn't love Simon at first but as the book progressed he grew on me more and more. They have this steamy undeniable chemistry that just works for the pair. This is my first book by the author and I enjoyed her writing style it's fast-paced, loaded with steamy moments and just enough story that I couldn't put it down. The characters are easy to connect with you can't help falling for Bette and Simon has this dark past. Perfect for those craving a steamy quick romance.

Top Ten Books I Could Re-read forever

I don't re-read very often to many new books in the world and I'm always trying to catch up. I do have a select few that I will always re-read over and over. I looked back on my prior list for Favorite Romance novels and saw most of these on the list.

1. Betty Neels - I've read most of her books and can read them over and over. At least the ones I have I've read over and over. They are a classic Harlequin so quick easy to read in just one sitting. Most of them are rich Dutch doctors or Lawyers all set in Europe they have true English Tea and beans on toast in most. I've tried the whole beans on toast it's not my favorite. However, this is why I have a tea addiction. Plus my grandmothers have hooked me on this author when I was a teenager. I may just pick one up for a quick read this afternoon.

2. Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover - One of my favorites by the author. She is one of those authors that I can read over and over. I also loved Confess one of my first books by Colleen Hoover. Highly recommend all of her books.

3. Beneath A Midnight Moon by Madeline Baker - This one was one of my first Historical Romance by the author. I was in my teenage years and the book store girl suggested her. This one had werewolves so I had to jump at it and I've read it over 5 times over the years. I'm actually do for another re-read. I loaned my copy off to a friend and it never came back. Thankfully I found a copy at a used bookstore. Adding it to my March TBR list.

4 & 5. The Bride & The Wedding by Julie Garwood - This duo's is one of my longtime favorites. My best friend and I happened across the wedding when it came out back in 1996. We decided to read the first one and it was instant love. We've re-read this duo countless times. Still my #1 historical romance. I love all of Julie Garwood's books she's a wonderful storyteller.

6. 7. 8.  The Royals trio by Erin Watt - This trio is one that has been on my TBR list since before it came out. I picked up the first Kindle book right away but never seemed to get around to it. I ended up waiting so long that the remaining 2 books had come out. One weekend I decided to give it a shot and started the first one. Finished the trio in just the weekend. I loved the story, characters and happy ever after. It's an emotional read but worth every moment.

What's on your list this week?
