The fence around the compound isn't there just to keep people out. It's to keep people in.

My sister deserves to have the wedding of her dreams, not an arranged marriage to some random werewolf. But our Alpha father is trying to force her into marrying someone she doesn't love, someone she doesn't even know.

The worst part? She's agreeing to do it so I won't have to.

I have to figure a way to get her out of this. A way that won't end up getting myself killed in the end.

It isn't just werewolves I need to worry about...

Dodging danger isn't the easiest thing to do lately, after having a run-in with a new kind of evil - one that I never knew even existed until I met Jax.

And my friends?
It's hard to say which ones I can trust.

Review
I received Starcrossed in return for an honest review from the authors.

Camryn's was worried with her best friend gone her summer would be boring. Instead of boring, she's met a new boy that just arrived in town that she shares a connection with. Her father has returned from a long absence, but he doesn't have the best intentions when he forces her 18-year-old sister to marry. One of the kids from school has been found murdered and all signs point to werewolves involved.

Camryn's future is banking on her and Jax figuring a way to break the cycle of her dying. As if that's not enough strange werewolves are hanging around town, and her new friend may not be who she pretends to be. As if she doesn't have enough going on her best friend has returned to town only to find out that Camryn hasn't been telling her everything going on. Will they figure out how to save Camryn's life or will she repeat the cycle once again? What about who killed the student from school?

I really like Camryn she's just getting better and better with each book. She's sweet, honest and willing to do whatever it takes to protect those she loves. I like Jax he's a good guy who cares about Camryn but he has some secrets that he's not ready to share with her. In Starcrossed we get to learn more about Mila as well as Zoe and her new marriage and even a little bit of their prior lives.

I couldn't wait to dive right in but I knew I had to wait till I had enough time to read cover to cover. Starcrossed is the 2nd installment in the Sherwood Wolves it starts off right after the end of the first book. While I'm not a huge fan of insta-love it's different for Camryn and Jax as they have had many lives together even if they don't last very long and it works. I read Starcrossed in one sitting unable to put it down until the last page because I had to know what was going to happen next. I love the characters they are easy to connect with you can't help loving Camryn she's adorable. The authors have done an amazing job creating a captivating story that sparks the heart as well as the imagination. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next with our star-crossed pair.

I can't choose between them, but I can't keep them all.
The vampires in my kingdom want me to crown my prince or give up the throne. Duty and tradition demand I let three of them go. My mother warned me not to fall in love with them. Now my only option is to play the game and try to come up with some way to get what my heart desires.

Review
Felicity has decided that she's not willing to give up any of her men and she's choosing to keep them all. Her mother brings her with her human consorts back to her home keeping them safe in one of the wings. While she has no intention of giving them up her mother is determined that she needs to pick one before it's too late. Keeping the guys safe may be harder than she planned as their blood calls to all the vampires in the residence. Especially when her cousin is looming in the shadows willing to swoop them up at the first chance.

I like Felicity a lot she's willing to risk it all to keep her men together and not be forced to choose between them. Keeping the men safe doesn't look like it will be as easy as they have hoped since already things have changed. Hopefully, she can get her guy back before things get worse. I'm curious to finish the serial and see how things are going to play out for our vampire princess and her future princes.

I've become an addict when it comes to the Reverse Harem concept the relationships all just work so well together. I think I find it so fascinating how the relationships all work out, it's not something you see every day in modern society. Crowned is the 2nd in the Vampire Princess serial it takes off right after the first one ends after the choosing has ended. I truly enjoyed the authors storytelling another installment I couldn't put down and I have to know how it's all going to finish. I've got the rest on my Kindle and plan to finish them soon. The concept is interesting, and the characters are easy to connect with and you can't help cheering them on. It's a steamy fast-fast paced story. Highly recommend checking them out.

As the vampire princess of the Night Court it's my duty to choose my human consort and make him my prince. For two weeks I'll be in a paradise with four human men, all willing to be mine.
All I have to do is choose one to crown.
I never expected to fall in love.
Not with one.
Certainly not with all of them.

Review
Felicity is the future ruler of the vampires. She may be a princess but she hasn't left her home until now. She's going to spend time on the island with four potential future prince's, during that time she will get to know them all and pick just one to be crowned. However, after arriving on the island it's clear that picking just one will be way harder than she expected as she finds herself falling in love with them all. Will she be able to pick just one?

I like Felicity she has this sweet innocent about her which I found refreshing for a vampire princess. I wasn't sure, to be honest about her love interests as they are each different but maybe that's why they all work so well together. As the book progressed they grew on me it was just as hard to pick one for her as they all are emotionally invested and have everything to lose. I'm curious to see how this is going to work out.

I'm a huge fan of the Reverse Harem concept so when I saw this one on my kindle I had to give it a shot. It's a serial which means several small parts to create one book. This is the first installment in the serial and I enjoyed every moment of it. I found it hard to put down and didn't until I had finished the story. I even start the second one because I had to know what was going to happen next. The author has created a beautiful steamy story loaded with romance, a little mystery and lots of steamy moments between Felicity and her men. Highly recommend checking it out.

Review
Connie's best friend has moved to be with her mate in another pack. Cyndi has started a new life but left Connie behind and she's struggling to find her place in the pack. When it's suggested maybe she needs a change and living in town might just be what she needs she jumps at the chance. Living in town will keep her close to her parents but give her the change she needs to find herself. Connie has found the perfect apartment she just needs to find a job and that seems to land right in her lap working the bakery. Connie finds more than just a job at the bakery as she learns that the owner just happens to be her mate.

I love Connie she was willing to do anything to help out her friend which I think is wonderful. She may be a werewolf but I found her to be very girl next door and paired with a stubborn shapeshifter it just works. They have the instant love chemistry I expected when a matchmaker is using her gift to bring them together. I really enjoyed reading Connie's happy ever after as we get to know her in the first one. The author has done a great job creating a fast-paced steamy story that is hard to put down. I finished it in one sitting because I had to know how it would end.

Review
Connie decides it's time for her best friend to have love in her life. So she sends an email to the shifter matchmaker offering everything even to be her slave if she can help her friend. Finding love for Cyndi isn't the only thing on her mind, as rogue wolves have been stirring up trouble locally. The whole pack is on alert and while they are off hunting the rogue wolves a stranger shows up at the pack. He's been sent by his alpha to speak with the pack healer but it's clear that something else is on the agenda when he see's Cyndi.

I like Cyndi she's this sweet girl next door type and Mitch is this powerful alpha shifter. They have this sizzling chemistry it's instant love but when you are shifters and meet your mate it just works that way. I'm not a huge fan of instant love but when you have a matchmaker pulling all the strings just right it takes all the work out. Her Purr-Fect Surprise is a fast-paced steamy read perfect for a quick read. This is my first book by the author I truly enjoyed every page. The concept was interesting and the characters are easy to connect with.

“You are mine for the next two weeks.”

Resigning might be the sexiest thing she’s ever done…

Quitting her job puts executive assistant Bette Monroe in a very compromising position. She has ten days left, and powerhouse lawyer Simon Kramer is working her late into the night…and seducing her into oblivion! While he’s convinced she’s selling business secrets, the bombshell secret she’s keeping would shock him more. Does she bare all…or keep him guessing?

Excerpt
“So then more money will get you to stay,” he said dismissively, as if he’d closed a case. He tossed her crumpled-up resignation letter into the brass trash can sitting beside his desk.

Frustration—and not just with this conversation—overwhelmed her, overcoming her natural inclination to avoid confrontation, and she blurted out, “No!”

Working for him these past two years had increased her frustration because of all those damn fantasies he’d inspired.

“But you just said—”

“I took the job because I needed money,” she said. “I needed money then.”

His eyes narrowed more as he studied her face. “And you don’t need it now?”

“My reason for leaving has nothing to do with money,” she said. Had she not found another source of income, she would have been forced to stay, but he didn’t need to know that.

“So you do have a reason.”

He wasn’t the trial lawyer of their partnership, but he could have been. She felt like she was being cross-examined on the witness stand. And she didn’t enjoy it one bit. Quitting was not a crime.

“I don’t have to give you a reason.” At least she didn’t think she did.

Maybe she should have had a lawyer look at that employment contract before she’d written her resignation letter. But no matter how much she paid, no lawyer would be as good as Simon Kramer. He was the best.

And, according to his ex-lovers, not just at the law...

“Why don’t you want to tell me?” he asked, and he stepped closer now, so close that she could feel the heat of his body through his suit and her cardigan and skirt.

Heat flushed her body, making her skin tingle. She tried to step back but the desk stopped her, the hard wood pressing into the backs of her thighs as he nearly touched the front of her. Her breasts pushed against the front of the gray cardigan as she struggled for breath. She had never been this close to him before. It was more than unsettling. Her knees trembled and her already tripping pulse quickened even more.

“Because it’s personal,” she murmured. And they had never been anything but businesslike with each other, except in her dreams.

He leaned down, so close that his warm breath whispered across her lips as he asked, “Are you in love with me?”

I received Legal Seduction in return for an honest review from the publisher.

Simon is one of 4 managing partners at the legal firm Street Legal and while things should be amazing someone is selling secrets but he's not sure who. When the silent alarm is tripped he rushes off from the bar to see if he can find out who is the mole. What he finds is not what he expected to find.

Bette is ready for a new start away from Street Legal and when she saw her boss at the bar she decided it was the perfect time to leave her resignation letter with her two weeks notice. Determined to find out if Bette is the mole he refuses to just let her go until he knows what secret she is hiding. Over the next two weeks, Simon will do what it takes to find the truth even crossing the line to seduce Bette. Can she make it through the two weeks before Simon breaks down her walls and learns who she really is?

I like Bette she's sweet small town girl in the city doing what she has to do to achieve her dreams. I honestly didn't love Simon at first but as the book progressed he grew on me more and more. They have this steamy undeniable chemistry that just works for the pair. This is my first book by the author and I enjoyed her writing style it's fast-paced, loaded with steamy moments and just enough story that I couldn't put it down. The characters are easy to connect with you can't help falling for Bette and Simon has this dark past. Perfect for those craving a steamy quick romance.

A daring game of temptation

She’ll play his game—but only by her rules!

Alex Lancaster is an adrenaline junkie. He’s also a sexy British billionaire who should come with his own warning signs. When Libby insists she’s done with men who live on the edge, Alex coaxes

her out of her comfort zone—professionally and very, very personally. Libby’s taking a high-stakes gamble, but the payoff could win her everything…

Excerpt
The man occupying her thoughts swept up beside her on a cloud of freshly showered deliciousness, his hand taking a proprietorial hold of the back of her barstool and his smoky, heavy-lidded smile stripping her naked.

Alex.

‘Hi.’ Libby closed her slack-jawed mouth and swivelled to face him, turning her back on the stranger, never one to pass up a golden opportunity. She hated rudeness, but if Beer Breath was too stubborn or thick-skulled to take the hint...

Alex kept his stare on her, his smile genuine and warm enough to melt her underwear clean off, and then signalled the waiter with a flick of his wrist.

Libby sensed the moment when Beer Breath slinked away, and the hairs on the back of her neck settled—but only temporarily, because Alex hadn’t taken his eyes off her. In fact, he was looking at her as if he was seconds from devouring her whole.

She shivered, delicious tendrils snaking to all her erogenous zones. ‘What are you doing here?’ Libby took a slug of her previously untouched drink, the burn calming her enough to meet his bold stare with one of her own.

‘I came to invite you out for a late supper. I was on my way to Reception and then I spotted you here.’ His hand slid from the back of her stool, and he settled into the one next to her, passing his order to the waiter before returning his disconcerting focus to her.

She stared back, lost for words and missing the proximity of his hand on her chair. He was close enough that his warmth traversed the space between them, but far enough away that she battled her body’s urge to sway closer. And keep on swaying.

‘What?’ One corner of his mouth kicked up. ‘What kind of host would I be if I left you to fend for yourself on your first night in a strange city?’

She couldn’t help the snort that left her. ‘The non-stalker kind...?’

He took the jibe with a cocksure arch of one brow, sipping wine while his poised stare flicked over her face from feature to feature.

Libby flushed hot all over. The ‘stalker’ comment had been beneath her. He hadn’t once touched her, hadn’t bought her drink, hadn’t tried to grab her phone, hadn’t even chased away her unwanted admirer—he had simply given her the out she’d wanted. The rest was all her.

What was wrong with her? Rudeness to a generous host and influential employer? All because he’d awoken needs within her? Needs too long dormant. Needs she’d never had before. Needs threatening to overwhelm her in their intensity.

Hardly his fault.

Review
I received A Week to Be Wild in return for an honest review from the publisher.

Libby has received an amazing chance an all expensed paid trip to London for a business seminar. This will give her the chance to branch out her business in Europe which she's hoping to do. It just so happens that someone had a reason for inviting her to business trip so that they can pitch her to work for his charity. However, Libby isn't so sure of the idea because he happens to be the sexy billionaire who's making her feel things she hasn't felt in years.

Alex needs Libby's help for his charity but he can't deny the controlling brunette might be more than just a business opportunity. When she rejects his first attempt to hire her it only makes him want her more and not just because of her work. When they come to an agreement to mix business with pleasure her week-long stay becomes a whirlwind adventure. Will she be able to leave him at the end of the week? Will he be able to let her go?

I've been eagerly looking forward to A Week To Be wild it tells the story of Libby and Alex who have this sizzling firey chemistry. This may be your typical girl meets billionaire businessman but that's where the similarities end. The author has created a captivating fast-paced steamy romance that leaves your toes curling. I really enjoyed the characters they are easy to connect with you can't help connecting with them. The author has created a steamy story that captures the heart as well as the imagination. This is a perfect quick read for anyone needing a steamy happy every after.

The Rebel vs. The Princess

Complete opposites who share the same burning passion!

Jaxon Brady of the Hard Riders MC has sworn to protect Evie Kent from a rival gang. His hard muscles and black leather motorcycle boots are a sharp contrast to the girlie dresses Evie wears for her successful party-planning business. Their instant attraction is magnetic, and their lust keeps them glued to each other’s side…but is it a dangerous distraction?

Excerpt
I have to be more cautious. From the rising volume of the squeals emanating from the backyard, cake consumption has concluded and the party will be wrapping up as the sugar highs hit, the early departers fleeing past my RV parked out front. Spotting the princess in an R-rated embrace with a biker would be bad for my business. You can’t be a dirty girl and host children’s birthday parties for a living. The moms will kill you. Fortunately, the moms aren’t mind readers. I’m only a party-perfect princess on the outside. Riding anywhere with Rev would be career suicide.
My bad voice promptly weighs in. But only if you get caught.
“I don’t do bikers.”
Something flashes across Rev’s face. “You don’t get hurt on my watch. I promise.”
“You’re not an ax murderer?”
He reaches into his pocket and pulls out the wallet attached to his belt by a silver chain. Silently, he flips it open and holds it out so I can read his driver’s license. There’s a military ID underneath it, too, the kind of card that gets you into Nellis Air Force Base.
“Your name isn’t Rev.” According to the State of Nevada’s laminated plastic, he’s one Jaxon Brady.
“Road name,” he says tersely.
I examine the license again. He’s also turning thirty-three in four weeks. I bet he won’t be booking a celebratory princess party.
“Wow.” I hand back his wallet. “Former navy?”
He nods, as if it’s no big deal. “SEAL. You’d be safe with me.”
He’s not big on talking. Or negotiating, asking, or sweet-talking. I’ve always trusted my instincts, though, and right now they’re on board with Rev Brady. Completely, totally, 100 percent in favor of getting on this man’s bike and riding off with him. Somewhere. Wherever he wants to go. He’s big and strong and tempting. He’s fought for our country and kept everyone safe.

How bad can he be?
The little voice in my head pipes right up. How bad do you want him to be?
That voice needs a gag.
“Think about it,” he says and then he turns and saunters toward his bike. I stand there, watching his ass the whole way, and wondering why I don’t mind his attitude. He’s scary as shit. He’s not Mr. White Picket Fence and he’s not promising happily ever after, but the man has a fantastic butt and I’m lonely. That’s all it is. I need to get out more, need to make a point of seeing someone.
Someone else.
Anyone else. There are absolutely, positively no bikers anywhere in my future.

Review
I received Ruled in return for an honest review from the publisher.

Evie is just trying to make a better life for herself and her baby brother it just happens to be pink princess parties that are in her future. She may have a thing for bad boys but she's not going to act on she wants a good nice guy. That is till Rev shows up at one of her parties hunting for her brother who causing trouble in his territory. Now he's all that Evie can think of and she's not the only one feeling that way. Rev feels like he has to protect Evie but at what cost?

I like Evie she's trying to make a better life after having a rough childhood it just happens to be creating princess parties for little kids. Which I think is such a great way to spend her day's wearing dresses and having princess parties. I honestly wasn't sure about Rev as I've not read many MC books before but his club isn't about running drugs it's about taking care of their neighborhood, keeping things clean. Most of them are former military so I found an instant connection.

I wasn't sure what to expect as the whole MC is a new genre to me but I was excited to check it out. Who doesn't love the idea of a princess and a rebel from two different worlds finding a happy ever after together. Right away it was instant chemistry for the pair even if she may have wanted to avoid it as he's not the nice guy she was looking for. I love the idea that while they are a MC group they aren't about the traditional kind I expected which I found refreshing. I like the characters they are easy to connect with you have to just love Evie she's adorable. This is my first book by the author but I'm hooked, her writing style was smooth and the story just flowed from start to finish. The Dare novels are perfect to read in one sitting quick fast-paced and steamy.

Review
I received Broken Beautiful Hearts from the publisher in return for an honest review.

Peyton had it all a handsome boyfriend, supportive best friend, and had just been offered a spot on for her freshman year of college to play soccer. She should be out celebrating with her boyfriend but he wanted to attend a party instead. When she realizes she left her phone in his car she runs out to get it. Finding something in the backseat of the car that changes her life in the blink of an eye. Now her chance to play soccer may just be a dream.

When things at home get too stressful her mom sends her off to spend the next four months living with her uncle and cousins. Hope that the change of scenery will be just what she needed as well allowing her to heal. Peyton isn't looking for a boyfriend, after all, she just got out of a rough relationship but one guy seems to be the exception to the rule. As Peyton learns to navigate a new school, with all new issues she can't seem to get away from her past. When it comes knocking will she be strong enough to withstand the blow?

I loved Peyton right from the start she's that sweet girl next door type and has a tragic past. Losing her father just over a year earlier has been rough but she's trying to move forward even if living with her uncle because he was with her father when he died. I didn't care for her D.C friends much but we didn't get a whole lot of time to know them. I did love her Tennessee friends they seem to be just what she needed. I knew right away Owen was just meant to be the one for Peyton even if they both have secrets they make it work.

I've been eagerly waiting to get closer to the release so that I could read Broken Beautiful Hearts. I admit I was a little nervous at the beginning as Peyton and I have a lot in common from our childhood, so I felt I was really able to connect with her. I knew right away that Owen was just the right guy for Peyton and the more we got to know him they needed each other. The chemistry between the two is sweet and I'm a fan of two broken people finding a happy ever after. I finished Broken Beautiful Hearts in just under 24 hours as it was too hard to put down and I was hooked. I love the book it's an emotional story that touches on a tough subject and leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy. I thought my husband was going to hit me with a pillow when I was bawling like a baby as I read the last several chapters. This is my first book by the author and I loved every minute she's a beautiful story and I can't wait to read more of her books. I loved it!!!
