This Week's Prompt:

What book do you reread the most?

Answer:
I wish I had more time to re-read books that I love but sadly I don't.
Since Valentines is just around the corner I think romance rereads are the best. These are some of my all time favorites and I've re-read them over and over through the years.

One of my favorite is Beneath A Midnight Moon by Madeline Baker and I might just have to re-read it right now.
I love all Betty Neels books it's hard to pick my favorite. They are perfect for a sweet romance craving.
I love The Bride & The Wedding duo by Julie Garwood it's such an awesome romance series.

This Week's Prompt:

Groundhog Day!
What book or scene from a book could you live in and have it on "repeat?"

Answer:
This one is a great question. One of my favorite movies is groundhog day but picking a day I would want to live over and over isn't so easy.

I would want to be Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich because I could handle any of her days even on "repeat". She has two sexy men who are always around plus her friends and family. No matter how bad it get's it always works out. Plus she's got tasty cakes.....I'm sold.

This Week's Prompt:

What are some tips that help you with blogging?
Answer:

I made a little list of some tips I feel are important to remember and have when it comes to blogging.

<~ Make friends it's great to have someone who's in a similar situation to bounce ideas off. Plus bonus if they are book bloggers. I'm always looking to connect with new bloggers.

<~ Make it your own, don't just copy someone else's idea, but do your own thing.

<~ Do what you want don't let anyone tell you what you can do.

<~ Don't let it turn into a job, read the books you want for fun. Write what you want when you want.

<~ Take it one day at a time, don't let yourself get overwhelmed and if you do take a break. Don't let yourself get burned out but if you do nothing wrong with a break.

What's on your Tips list?

This Week's Prompt:
What protagonist is most like you?

Answer:

This is an easy one I always see myself Katy from the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Why?
We are both booknerds and love getting new books
Bookbloggers who are just a little obsessive
Our significant others are infuriating, arrogant and have stab-worthy moments.
I lost my mom as a teen to a car accident.
I like a little calming gardening.
My husband is handsome but he doesn't glow.
We are forever.

Favorite quotes from these two

“Daemon: I checked out your blog.
Katy: Stalking me again, I see. Do I need to get a restraining order?
Daemon: In your dreams, Kitten. Oh wait, I'm already starring in those, aren't I?

Katy: Nightmares, Daemon. Nightmares.”

“I was always able to lose myself in reading. Books were a necessary escape I always gladly jumped into headfirst.”

“I checked out your blog.'
Oh. Dear. Baby. Jesus. How did he find it? Wait. More importantly was the fact he HAD found it. Was my blog now googleable? That was awesomesauce with an extra heaping of sauce.”

This Week's Prompt:

What is your favorite book set in a “winter” world??

Answer:
This is a tough one it's been a while since I read a winter book. I do have a couple that I really enjoyed even if they follow the same theme.

Winter Wolf by Rachel M. Raithby
Once Upon a Winter's Night by Dennis L. McKiernan
Mistress of the Wind by Michelle Diener

They are all books with shifters in them. Two of them are the same story with unique twists.

This Week's Prompt:

What's your favorite scary story?

Answer:

This weeks is tough because I don't read scary books very often. I do enjoy them every now and then. I can say it's been so long that I can't remember the last scary story I even read.

Since I don't have a scary story how about my current beverage and my current read. I'm in love with the cover. I think I need to pick up a physical copy.
by Wendy Knight

Teaser

At the window, Kaida whined, clawing at the shutters. Tentatively, Eiress walked toward her little dragon, checking over her shoulder to watch the mirror. It had never seemed so lifeless before. So devoid of hope.
Had she lost him completely?
But no, she could still feel him. He was alive.
Unless he wasn't. And he was here.
Shaking her head so hard her red hair swirled around, she growled. No, he was good. His soul was good. Had he died, he would not be here. This was the Isle of the Damned. Good souls did not venture here.

This Week's Prompt:

What are your favorite childhood stories?

Answer:

I've always been into reading. So picking some of my favorite stories is hard.

The Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown is one that my mother read to me over and over. It's also one that I've read to both of my children and hope one day they will read it to theirs.

Sideways Stories from Wayside School by Louis Sachar - I have fond memories of reading these as a kid with my dad. I think I need to pick them up.

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst, Ray Cruz - This is another one of those that my parents used to read to me over and over before bed. When the movie came out the kids and I had to watch it.
