The Torch
After a rocky few weeks, Adie’s life is almost back on track. She’s ironed out the kinks in her new living situation and even fallen into a friendly relationship with her three sexy, demon roommates, Tobias, Emil, and Kellen. Barring the occasional misunderstanding, they even manage to follow her rules. Most of the time. Feeling like her perfect life is almost within reach, Adie only needs to check off one more task before opening her new shop, Boo’s Boutique Bakery.

How hard can it be to hire a few trustworthy employees? When her cousin, Julian, makes an offer too perfect to be true, can she afford to refuse? Finding the right mix of employees for the bakery might be a bigger task than Adie bargained for!

Follow Adie on her continuing (mis)adventures filled with troublesome demons as she strives toward achieving a quasi-normal life among humans.

The Blaze
Opening Boo’s Boutique Bakery is almost within Adie’s reach. It’s so close, she can taste the frosting. With her plate already full of three sexy demons, a cadre of wayward imps, and her search to find out about her errant demonic nature, it’s not the best time for an unknown hunter to walk into her bakery with her prospective new employee. Adie can’t seem to catch a break. Or can she?

Her new baker comes with potential risks that might outweigh the benefits of having her help with the soft-opening Adie plans for her bakery. If that’s not enough, weird things are happening when she tries to feed that send her reeling. Can she make the right choices and get answers? Or will her cupcake dreams go up in smoke?

Follow Adie on her continuing (mis)adventures filled with troublesome demons and wayward humans as she strives toward achieving a quasi-normal life among humans.
Review
Adie is a succubus who may have rushed a little when it came to getting a human body. Which has caused her not to be able to enter the dream world by herself, as other succubi can do. She's accepted the deal granted she altered it just a little but enough to get what she wants plus her bakery. However, the more time she spends with the guys the more she learns about herself. It's time to study up and learn what she's missing about being a succubus because she's doing it wrong.

Adie has a plan but opening a bakery she will feed on the happy people with skimming she won't need to worry about feeding herself. The only thing standing in her way just happens to be three powerful demons who are determined to get more than just a deal out of her. In order to open her bakery, they want her to feed off them but at what cost? Will she survive a Bargain with the trio? Will she get her bakery?

I've had my eye on this series for a while but waited till a few more came out before diving right in. The reverse harem concept is growing in popularity and I'm becoming a quick fan. As the series is short novellas I figured it was better to combine them together plus that way I wouldn't be giving anything away. I love Adie she's a great character you can't help cheering her on as she overcomes everything that is thrown at her. At first, I wasn't sure about our demon trio but the more we get to know them the more I like them. I'm curious to see how this is all going to work out. I highly recommend this quick read series it's easy to get lost and read them all in just a few short hours. One of my new favorites and I can't wait for the next one to come out.

My name is Evalee, and I have a secret. I’m a witch.

Okay, maybe it’s not that big of a secret. At least not in Mystic Willow Bay where practically every paranormal creature lives.

Still, I have plenty of secrets. Like the fact that I suck at casting spells, which is a huge problem, considering I’m a witch. But I can talk to dead bodies and am secretly working on a spell that will hopefully revive my sister from the dead. Until I perfect the spell, I’ve hidden her body in the basement, something my roommates are completely clueless about.

I’m also in love with my best friend, Hunter, one of the most popular wizards in town and who’s completely out of my league in the dating department.
But I’m not the only person in Mystic Willow Bay that has secrets. And some are way worse than mine. Like whoever has been stealing dead bodies from the morgue and the graveyard. For what reason, I don’t know, but I’m about to find out because they’ve stolen my sister’s body, and I need to get it back before I miss out on my chance at bringing her back from the dead.

Review
Evalee comes from a long line of witches but she doesn't have the magic touch that her family has. She lives in a town full of paranormal creatures, so living with fairies, werewolves and seeing demons around town isn't anything outside the ordinary. While she may not be skilled with her craft she can talk to the dead which helps while trying to bring her sister back from the dead. If only her body hadn't been kidnapped before she could do it. Now Evalee has to find her sisters body as well as bring her back before it's too late.

I've had this one on my kindle for a while but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I like the characters Evalee is sweet she's not the best witch but she doesn't let it get her down. The Secret Life of a Witch is a quick action-packed story that was easy to finish in one sitting. I enjoyed the story but wish it was longer because I wanted to know more about it. I'm curious to check out the next book in the series because while short it was a great start. I've read a few books by the author before and really enjoy her writing style.

Review
Lizzie is destined to be the next Mrs. Claus she just needs to find her Santa. However, he doesn't seem to be showing up locally, so her father has arranged a marriage between her one of her best friends. She doesn't love him but she doesn't have much choice as the magic hasn't provided a Mr. Claus. The European packs have been having issues so they set off to figure out what needs to be done. Lizzie tags along because she feels like they might need her but she's hoping to find her Mr. Claus. Something is pulling her to L.A. even her father is feeling the need to travel to a place where Arctic wolves don't live. Will Lizzie find her Santa on this adventure?

Miss Claus is a sweet holiday romance putting a unique twist on who is Santa. In this story, the Claus's just happen to be a pack of Arctic werewolves who have Christmas magic. I enjoyed the sweet clean holiday romance it had just the right amount of mystery. I liked the characters they are fun, easy to connect with you can't help cheering Lizzie along on her path for a happy ever after. This is my first book by the authors. I enjoyed the story-telling and look forward to checking other books out by them. Highly recommend if you are looking for a clean magical romance.

They may be right.

With everything and everyone conspiring to keep them apart, Ella and Reed must find a way to beat the law, save their families, and unravel all the secrets in their Twisted Palace.

Review
Ella and Reed had have mended their relationship, things are finally as they should and tragedy strikes changing everything. Reed's dad's fiance has been murdered and Reed was the last person to see her alive so of course, he's the number 1 suspect. Ella knows it wasn't him but the evidence keeps piling up on him and it looks like he may be going away for her murder even though he's innocent.

On the same night of the murder, Ella's father has returned from the dead. He's determined to make up for lost time with his daughter he didn't know he had. Even deciding she shouldn't be seeing Reed as he's up for the murder and forcing her to leave her home and live with him. Will they be able to stay together? Will they find out the real killer?

Ella and Reed just keep getting better in each book. I love that Ella stands by Reed even as he's facing charges that will change their lives. I love that she was willing to wait for him if he wrongly goes to prison. They have this sweet romance with a steamy attraction that just works beautifully.

I couldn't wait to see how it would all play out in Twisted Palace and I finished it in one morning. I burned through the trio in just three days because it was just so hard to put down. I love the characters they are easy to connect with, and they stole a place in my heart. Ella and Reed are now one of my top 5 favorite couples they are broken but together they are perfect. The Royals Trio is an emotional rollercoaster that captures the heart as well as the imagination. It's beautifully done from start to finish it was a hard to put down series that I just loved. I enjoyed everything moment and I'm so happy that everything worked out so well.  I highly recommend that you check out The Royals series it's one of a kind.

SHE MIGHT BE RIGHT.

Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.

Review
Ella walks in on Reed and instead of denying it he just stands there in shock. Doing what she does best Ella takes off running but because they are Royals she doesn't get far.  Reed screwed up dragged into a dark secret that he's kept from Ella. Now the girl he loves doesn't want anything to do with him that she ran but his father brought her back. Now they may be under the same roof but it's clear she wants nothing to do with him. He's not willing to give up, he's determined to be the man she needs and win her over.

Ella's knows that Reed isn't good for her, after learning that he's been keeping a secret about his past but it doesn't change the fact that she's in love with him. Can Ella deny her heart, stay away from Reed and finish off her schooling so she can get away from the Royal family once and for all. As if she doesn't have enough issues she's still the target of several students at school and her guardian is getting married to his girlfriend.

I love Ella and Reed they have issues but it's not been an easy childhood for either of them but together they just work. They aren't perfect they were broken before they met each other and now even while having issues they are amazing to each other. I love the chemistry between these two they are sweet yet steamy at the same time. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite couples and I can't wait to see them get a happy ever after.

I dove right into Broken Prince right after finishing Paper Princess because I had to know what was going to happen next as it ended with a cliffhanger. Broken Prince was hard to put down like the first book I ended up finishing it in just an afternoon because it's just so good.  I love Ella and Reed they are quickly becoming one of my favorite couples and I can't wait to see them get a happy ever after. The author has done an amazing job creating a captivating whirlwind story that keeps me on the edge of my seat. I love the authors writing style she's a wonderful storyteller with characters that are easy to connect with and a beautiful story. I can't wait to see how it's all going to play out.

From strip clubs and truck stops to southern coast mansions and prep schools, one girl tries to stay true to herself.

These Royals will ruin you…

Ella Harper is a survivor—a pragmatic optimist. She’s spent her whole life moving from town to town with her flighty mother, struggling to make ends meet and believing that someday she’ll climb out of the gutter. After her mother’s death, Ella is truly alone.

Until Callum Royal appears, plucking Ella out of poverty and tossing her into his posh mansion among his five sons who all hate her. Each Royal boy is more magnetic than the last, but none as captivating as Reed Royal, the boy who is determined to send her back to the slums she came from.

Reed doesn’t want her. He says she doesn’t belong with the Royals.

He might be right.

Wealth. Excess. Deception. It’s like nothing Ella has ever experienced, and if she’s going to survive her time in the Royal palace, she’ll need to learn to issue her own Royal decrees.

Review
Ella's childhood has been less than amazing. She and her mom have bounced from place to place with her mom's different boyfriends struggling to get by. When her mom passes away leaving Ella on her own she knows she will have to do what it takes to finish out her schooling. Granted that is working as a stripper but it's paying the bills and will give her the time to finish school. That is a stranger shows up claiming to be her guardian and whisking her away to his mansion, a rich school and with new brothers.

Now Ella has the option to run which she's been doing her whole life or she can make the best of it finish school and head off to college. The only thing standing in her way is Reed who thinks she's only here to get in with his father and he doesn't trust her at all. It would be easy to ignore Reed if he wasn't so attractive but oh so wrong on so many levels. However, staying apart isn't going to be easy living under the same roof.

I love Ella she's had a tragic start but she's finally been given the chance to she needs to get ahead. I love the Royals; they have issues as well but together they make it work well. I love the chemistry between Ella and Reed they complement each other and they are perfect for each other. Together they find what they have been missing and needing most but nothing lasts forever and everything spirals out of control. Will they be able to survive?

I've had this one on my kindle forever but for some reason, I never seemed to get to it. I finally decided to give it a shot and couldn't put it down finishing it in just one afternoon. I love the characters; they are easy to connect with you can't help cheering Ella and Reed on even when it get's bleak. Paper Princess is a fast-paced action-packed story that captures the heart as well as the imagination leaving you wanting more. I loved Paper Princess it was a beautifully written story. This is my first book by the author an I've become a huge fan and had to dive right into the next one in the series.

Book Tour Review: So Over You

Synopsis
Three estranged sisters struggle to sustain their late father’s failing hockey franchise in Kate Meader’s sizzling Chicago Rebels series. In this second entry, middle sister Isobel is at a crossroads in her personal and professional lives. But both are about to get a significant boost with the addition of a domineering Russian powerhouse to the Rebels....

Isobel Chase knows hockey. She played NCAA, won Olympic silver, and made it thirty-seven minutes into the new National Women’s Hockey League before an injury sidelined her dreams. Those who can’t, coach, and a position as a skating consultant to her late father’s hockey franchise, the Chicago Rebels, seems like a perfect fit. Until she’s assigned her first job: the man who skated into her heart as a teen and relieved her of her pesky virginity. These days, left-winger Vadim Petrov is known as the Czar of Pleasure, a magnet for puck bunnies and the tabloids alike. But back then... let’s just say his inability to sink the puck left Isobel frustratingly scoreless.

Vadim has a first name that means “ruler,” and it doesn’t stop at his birth certificate. He dominates on the ice, the practice rink, and in the backseat of a limo. But a knee injury has produced a bad year, and bad years in the NHL don’t go unrewarded. His penance? To be traded to a troubled team where his personal coach is Isobel Chase, the woman who drove him wild years ago when they were hormonal teens. But apparently the feeling was not entirely mutual.

That Vadim might have failed to give Isobel the pleasure that was her right is intolerable, and he plans to make it up to her—one bone-melting orgasm at a time. After all, no player can perfect his game without a helluva lot of practice...

Excerpt
He leaned in again, smelling of fame, privilege, and raw sex appeal. Discomfort at his proximity edged out the hormonal sparks dancing through her body.
“Does Moretti know that we have history? That you are the last person I wish to work with?”
Before she could respond, someone squealed, “Vadim!” A blond, skinny, buxom someone, who now wrapped herself around Vadim in a very possessive manner. “You said you’d be back with a dwinkie!”
A dwinkie?
Drawing back, Vadim circled the squealer’s waist and pulled her into his hard body. “Kotyonok, I did not mean to be so long.” He dropped a kiss on her lips, needing to bend considerably because she was just so darn petite! Not like big-boned Isobel, who could have eaten this chick and her five supermodel Playmates for a midmorning snack. A group of them stood off to the side, clearly waiting for the signal to start the orgy. And Vadim clearly wanted to give it, except he had to deal with the annoying six-foot fly in the sex ointment.
Why did the lumberjack hotties always go for twigs instead of branches? Did it make them feel more virile to screw a pocket-sized Barbie?
Yep, feeling like a schlub.
But he didn’t need to know that. All he needed to know was that she had the power to return him to competitive ice. This was her best shot at making a difference and getting the
Rebels to a coveted play-off spot. Vadim Petrov and his butt-hurt feelings would not stand in her way.
“Do you need to talk about it, Russian?”
She infused as much derision into the question as possible, so that the idea of “talking about it” made him sound a touch less than manly. Big, bad, brick-house Russians didn’t need to talk about the women who done them wrong.
“There is nothing to talk about,” he uttered in that voice that used to send Siberian shivers down her back. Now? Nothing more than a Muscovian flurry.
“Excellent!” Superscary cheerful face. “Regular practice is tomorrow at ten, so I’ll see you on the ice at 9 a.m. Don’t be late.”
Pretty happy with her exit line, she walked away.
Far too easy.
A brute hand curled around hers and pulled her to the other side of the bar, out of the sight line of most of the VIP room. She found her back against a wall—literally and figuratively—as 230 pounds of Slavic muscle loomed over her.
He still held her hand.
If she weren’t so annoyed, she’d think it was kind of nice.
She yanked it away. “Who the hell do you think you are?”
“Who am I?” he boomed, and she prayed it was rhetorical. Unfortunately, no. “I am Vadim Petrov. Leading goal scorer for my first two years in the NHL. Winner of both the Kontinental and the Gagarin Cups. A man not to be trifled with. And you are, who, exactly? The daughter of a hockey great who was not so great when it came to running a team. The woman
who can no longer play yet thinks she can offer ‘tips’ to me. To me! You may have pedigree, Isobel, but there is nothing I can learn from you.”
This arrogant, douchewaffle piece of shit!

Review
I received So Over You in return for an honest review.
Isobel has spent her whole life working towards her goal of being on a pro hockey team. When she finally gets the chance it's short-lived only 37 minutes because of a skull injury. While she may have healed she's not ready to give up her dream but she's now spending her time training hockey players. Her father always pushed her to go far in Hockey like he did but when he dies and leaves the team to his three daughters she needs to stick around for the season as part of his will. The other part of the will is that they needed to make the playoffs, or they would lose the team. With the help of her two sisters, they may just get the chance they need but it's in new players for the team.

This isn't Vadim's first time working with the Chase family but it's been several years since he's been back. Vadim has a history with Isobel but this time he's determined not to fall for her as last time was the reason he was sent back to Russia. However, it doesn't take long for Vadim to realize he's not over the skating beauty or that she's over him yet. While it's been years that doesn't change the connection between the two of them.

Will training Vadim be more than Isobel bargained for? As an owner in the team having a romantic relationship with a player will draw un-needed attention that she's hoping to avoid. Will training together be more than either one of them can handle? After all, they have this sizzling chemistry that started years ago and still is burning strong. Will they be able to make it work and save the team at the same time?

This is my first book by the author, and I admit that I didn't realize it was a series till I started the second one. I like Isobel she's spent her whole life working towards a dream that was ripped away after an almost fatal accident. It can't be easy stuck in the world she so wants to be a part of but can't. I also like Vadim he's got issues as well family issues that have decided now is the perfect time to come back to haunt him. However, they just work together finding what they have been missing in each other. One of my favorite concepts is when the main characters are broken but together they are whole. I enjoyed the story it was easy to get drawn into the hockey world. I actually finished in just an afternoon as I had to know how it was going to play out. I highly recommend checking out the series and I can't wait to read the first and check out the author's other books.

Desperate to hide the pain she caused him, Nick vows to keep his distance from his gorgeous ex. But when he realizes their intense chemistry hasn’t faded after a year apart, he wonders if they could have a future together, even if dating the boss’s daughter could complicate his bid for the championship belt.

Under the bright lights of Las Vegas, in the world of high-stakes prize fighting, they’ll have to take a risk and decide if their love is worth fighting for.

The team working on the photo shoot had converted a corner of the WFC gym so they’d have access to punching bags and other training accessories they might need, which meant they were shooting at night when everyone was gone. Which was fine, except Jules wished there were more people around to keep her attention off Nick. But then she thought of what had happened at the club and realized a room full of people couldn’t save her from wanting him.

The music that had been playing while they were shooting changed from a dance beat to Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies.” With a sigh of frustration at herself for still being hung up on him, she plastered on a smile and walked to where Nick stood, determined to face her demon head-on. He adjusted one of the giant wind machines an assistant had set up at the beginning of the shoot, fiddling with the dial on top. Krista, the make-up artist, had gone back to her table of supplies.

“You’re doing great. Enrique is very happy with what we’re getting. Thanks again for doing this,” she said, crossing her arms over her chest, trying not to think of where her

hands had been a week ago.

His trademark cocky smile appeared, the one where one side of his mouth tipped up higher than the other, but he didn’t look at her. She swallowed hard when her tummy fluttered in response. “Did you doubt me?” he asked, and turned the fan on.

“No . . .” She automatically started to reassure him, but stopped when he tossed his hair dramatically, the thick dark strands catching the wind and blowing out behind him. She caught a faint whiff of the citrus scent of his shampoo. It was the same scent she’d worn on her skin after spending the night with him back in Chicago.

He moved his shoulders and hips in time with the music as he tossed his head again. She couldn’t help teasing him, laughing a little. “Are you pretending to be Beyoncé?”

Looking over his shoulder at her, he winked. “Everyone secretly wants to be Beyoncé.”

She laughed harder, not even bothering to restrain it. As she watched him toss his hair like Beyoncé, bare chested with his hands still in fight wraps, she realized just how much she’d missed him. Missed this playfulness. Missed the way he could make her laugh when she was stressed. After that disastrous dinner with her dad last week, things had been very tense between them. He only spoke to her when he had to, and avoided her the rest of the time. Laughing with Nick was nice and made her forget that for a few minutes.

“I wouldn’t mind being Beyoncé,” she agreed when she finally stopped laughing. “But you should stop playing with the wind machine. It looks expensive.”

“Nuh-uh.” He grabbed her hand when she reached for the dial and pulled her in front of him, facing the wind. “Just try it.”

“What? No.” But she’d started laughing again.

“Just try. Here.” He gently nudged her feet apart. “Power stance,” he explained. “Now close your eyes and toss your head.” His hands went to her shoulders to pull them back before sliding down her arms to take her hands, leaving her skin tingling. She couldn’t stop her fingers from curling around his, craving more of his touch.

Spreading her arms out, he made her dance while singing, “All the single ladies,” softly in her ear. His lips brushed the shell of her ear, and his breath sent prickles of heat down her neck. The hard muscles of his chest were solid and warm against her back.

At one time she would’ve turned and kissed him, but that part of their relationship had to stay in the past. With his chest pressing into her back, though, it was hard to remember exactly why. Before Jules realized it, she was playing his game, swaying and shaking her hips to the music. She had to resist the urge to press herself against him every time her butt brushed his hips, reminding herself for the hundredth time that they were just coworkers.

Review
I received Dirty Boxing in return for an honest review from the publisher.

A year ago Jules had an amazing weekend with a fighter in Chicago it was as close as she's come to a potential real relationship. She had to end it before she returned home because she doesn't do relationships thanks to her parents marriage. While she's tried to tell herself it was just a fling she's not gotten over him even after a year. When he comes waltzing back into her life and she's forced to work with him can she deny the attraction she still feels?

Nick has switched fighting companies hoping to get a fresh start never expecting that he would be working with the one woman who he was falling hard for. Nick still hasn't gotten over her and seeing her again after a year has ignited all the feelings. Will he be able to work with her on promoting the new fighting business and keep it just business or will he find himself falling all over for her?

I like Jules she has issues but she is trying to mend relations with her dad after everything that's happened between them. Jules and Nick have this steamy chemistry between them that just works and neither of them can say that it over for good. I love that Nick wasn't willing to give up on Jules even if she did keep pushing him away it's refreshing.

I knew the moment that I read the synopsis that Dirty Boxing was a must read. I'm a sucker for a broken couple finding a happy ever after together. I like the concept for of using the MMA world for the characters it's a newer theme and I enjoyed it. The characters are easy to connect with you can't help liking both of them as we get each side it made it easier to understand them both. The authors have done a beautiful job creating a captivating page turn that I had a hard time putting down. This is my first book by the authors but already I can't wait to read the next book in the series. Highly recommend if you love steamy contemporary romance that you check it out. One of my new favorites.
