Synopsis

This delicious Romeo and Juliet retelling with a better ending is perfect for fans of Crescent City and The Cruel Prince. Two opposing courts. Fate decrees they cannot be. Will love win in the end?

Elva is many things, but a good Fae is not one of them. Circumstances molded her into the Fae she is today. Cold. Heartless. Uncaring. She spends her days hunting the worst criminals and ignoring the rest of the world. Or she did until she met a Summer Fae who she can’t get out of her head.

The day Nathaniel sees his life flash before his eyes, he’s freezing. A Summer Fae, out of place in the land of winter. She turns around, and they lock eyes. Right then, everything changes. It doesn’t matter that she’s Winter and he’s Summer. Nothing matters except her.

Every time they meet, their forbidden connection grows. Getting close to each other is a recipe for disaster. But they can’t help it. When Elva’s past catches up with her, and she disappears, their connection may be the only thing that saves her. This book is a complete, stand-alone story in a larger series. "Legends of Love" are the perfect books for fans of fantasy romance who love sweet love stories, powerful ladies, danger, political intrigue, and epic journeys. Setting classic stories in an urban setting with vampires, fae, merfolk, angels, daemons, and werewolves makes them all the more enticing. What readers are saying about A Court of Fire and Frost… ★★★★★ “If you like Fae love stories, with a dash of powerful female MC and golden retriever puppy male MC, run and read this book.”

★★★★★ “It’s not often that I read a book and want to shout about it from the rooftops.”

★★★★★ “And I finished it in a matter of hours. It's a great page-turner, and I can't wait for the rest of the stories.”

Review

I received A Court of Fire and Frost in return for an honest review from the authors.

Nathaniel is a summer fae who needed a change and moved away from the court living moving to a place where it's cold and he needs to use his magic to heat himself up. It's while at work he encounters Elva an assassin on the run from her mother the queen. After a chance encounter the two are immediately enchanted with each other that they are both looking forward to her visits until she suddenly stops coming. Determined to find why she's suddenly no longer coming Nathaniel sets out on a danger adventure that will change both their lives forever.

I love Nathaniel and Elva they both stole places in my heart right from the start. I love they have this sweet connect that just continues to grow over time as they have this little visits. I'm a huge fan of dual pov's so it was nice being able to see both of their feelings. I love how sweet their romance was as it continued to blossom into a beautiful love story. The chemistry between them just works so well and just the right amount of steam.

I devoured A Court of Fire and Frost in one afternoon it was hard to put down and I had to see how their love story was going to play out. I haven't read very many Romeo and Juliet retellings but this is by the best one I've read. I loved every moment of the story the fae concept of Winter and Summer courts just works so well as two rival families. The bad guys are just wicked and cheered our lovers on as they overcame every challenge.

This is my first book by the authors but I'm obsessed, they did a beautiful weaving a story that captures the heart as well as the imagination. I was so nervous about how the Romeo & Juliet ending would play out in the story. However, they nailed it perfectly hitting it out of the park and exceeding my expectations. My only complaint is that it's over, and I'm not ready to say goodbye to Nathaniel and Elva's world just yet. I hope we will have more retellings yet to come. Highly recommend if you love retellings.

Synopsis

Margo was just your normal Christmas elf, and sure maybe she had a bit too much Christmas cheer, but hey, if starting to decorate for Christmas in July was wrong, she didn't want to be right.

At least, until the three lords of Halloween decide to kidnap her and bring her back to Halloweenland.

There’s Jack, the hopelessly sexy and tall King of Halloween, who’s harboring a monster inside of him.

Wraith, the dark and dangerous Boogeyman, who may not be nearly as evil as he seems.

And Sam, the Mayor of Halloweenland, whose multiple personalities only seem to make him sexier.

And Margo’s about to find out exactly what goes bump in the night, but with any luck... maybe she can spread a little Christmas cheer to these three dark beings. After all, that's her only hope...

Review

Margo is a Christmas elf who's spent her whole life embracing everything Christmas but when she ends up kidnapped things start to change. She finds herself in Halloweenland with Jack who was expecting Santa Clause. However, her arrival isn't necessarily a bad thing as she has three lords of Halloween wanting her attention.

I loved Margo she made me smile she's just a sweetheart even when the men who are chasing after her go bump in the night. She has this steamy chemistry between her and each of the men but it works so well. They each bring something to the table but I think the boogyman may be my favorite of her three men.

This isn't my first book by Melody Rose and I have some high expectations but it doesn't disappoint. The Characters are great easy to connect with you can't help enjoying Margo's adventure into Halloweentown. This is a steamy reverse harem with a HEA. I enjoyed the characters and loved the story it was a quick read and I read it in one afternoon. Highly recommend.

Synopsis
Avery Beckett couldn’t have fallen any further, even if he’d dug his own grave.

Well, maybe technically he could have. Ousted from the family mansion, stripped of his status. Cast out in utter disgrace. That about covers it. His ruin almost complete.

Years of trauma surge to the forefront, leaving Avery no choice but to deal with the terrifying gift he’s been cursed with but had buried deep. The clan needs his unique brand of talents. Trouble is he’s no good for anyone else, least of all himself in his current state.

Charlie Evanston has faithfully served in the mansion since abandoning her home in the ranks of the fae ten years ago, but resigns in solidarity with Avery. And when it’s as if he’s seeing her for the very first time, she won’t miss out on this chance.

Meanwhile, the past and present collide, the clan’s future at a crossroads dependent on Avery’s next move. But his dragon, held at bay for so long, has other ideas involving the pretty fae, who’s dealing with her own heartache.

And he’s playing for keeps.

*Readers can expect healthy doses of hot shifters, naughty language, and intimate times with a fated mate, all wrapped up in a happily ever after. Can be read as a standalone romance but best enjoyed in the order written.

Review

I received Fallen Dragon in return for an honest review from IndIe Pen PR.

Avery Beckett has issues things have spiraled out of control sine he was kicked out of his family. When his family needs him to use his special gift Charlie is the only one who can bring him back. Will they be able to survive the looming attack or will Avery be to late.

I really like Avery he's broken, has long term trauma but he's so real as a character. It as interesting seeing the former alpha dragon learning to deal with his issues that have been plaguing him. I love Charlie she's just a sweetheart and perfect complement to Avery. The Chemistry between they just works so well.

I've always been a huge dragon shifter romance reader but this one has some unique twists which I found exciting. The story behind the shifters is equally interesting that the used to be a alien race at one time before they ended up on earth. The characters are easy to connect with while they may not be human they are dealing with very real issues and I liked that a lot.

This is my first book by the author but I'm hooked on her captivating story telling. I loved the steamy romance between the shifters and their fated mates. It was action packed with just the right amount of spice that doesn't overwhelm the story. I ending up devouring Fallen Mate in just a few short hours. I'm looking foward to exploring the rest of the series.

Synopsis

An all-new and addictive dark, why-choose, captive romance from the USA Today & Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Tracy Lorraine. All my life I’ve been a prisoner. Locked away by men who think they hold all the power. First my father. And now him. The devil himself. Reid Harris. Even my husband can’t save me from the most infamous man in Harrow Creek and his loyal best friend. I’m tangled up in their twisted games. One woman. Three dangerous men. They expect me to cower. To beg and plead for mercy. But Reid’s about to discover that not everyone bends to his will. Because I don’t care who he is or what he does, I will not break. Not for any man. And certainly not for him.

Dear Reader,

Merciless is book one of four in the Harrow Creek Hawks series. It is a dark why-choose romance, meaning our leading lady has several love interests and never has to choose to find her HEA. These three a-hole alphas are certainly no heroes; their morals are questionable at best. If you're looking for a good guy, then you're in the wrong place. Enter at your own discretion.

Review

I received Merciless in return for an honest review from Deviant Hearts PR for the upcoming release.

Alana has always been a captive her captors have just changed over the years and now she's in the hands of Reid and his best friend JD. Even her husband won't be able to save her this time as she spends more time with the men. Lines start to blur between her and the guys who have her locked up and suddenly maybe she's not the girl they thought she was. What happens when they learn her secrets?

I love Alana she's had such a rough life and Maverick just wanted to protect her after everything she's had to endure. Maverick is the husband who just wants to protect and take care of his wife. It's Reid and JD that play a starting role in this romance as they are the ones who have her captive. At first I didn't care for them but the more we get to know them the more I started to like them. The chemistry between them is sizzling right from the start and just grows the more time they spend together.

I love that the author has created this darker romance side showing a theme I've not seen often with captives. I found the story captivating right from the start I wanted to know more about the characters as it unfolds. The characters I found easy to connect with I was cheering Alana on as we relive her memories and what's happening now.

Merciless was a fast paced whirlwind dark romance that I found hard to put down. I ended up devouring the book over the course of two reading sessions because I had to know how it will play out. This is my first book by the author but I'm hooked she does a lovely job creating a dark story that keeps the reader hooked till the very end. This is a cliffhanger but at least the next one is coming out just around the corner and I can't wait to see how it's all going to play out.

Review

I received House of Ash and Shadow from the author in as part of the tour hosted by Book Of Matches Media.

Fallon was born with a magical curse that if anyone touches her she has excruciating pain that's debilitating. When her father comes down with a sudden sickness it's up to Fallon to venture into the Gilded City to get a healer to help save his life. Little did she know that stepping into the city would change her life forever. Thrust into the world of magical Fallon finds friends, love, and darkness is looming.

I love Fallon she's an amazing character who struggles with her own unique weakness but doesn't let it define her. She's grown so much through the book as a character I found myself cheering her on through the whole book. I love the Princes they both are unique but both have unique connections with Fallon that just work so well. I loved Eden she was such a great best friend for Fallon just what they both needed.

I ended up devouring the book in just one afternoon I couldn't put it down and had to know what was going to happen next. The characters are easy to connect with I just loved Fallon so much she's just a great character. The author has done a lovely job creating a beautiful story I loved every minute of Fallons adventure. I loved House of Ash and Shadows it's a perfect start to an exciting new series.

Leia Stone is one of my all time favorite authors she knows how to draw you in and keep you wanting more. She also included a oatmeal cookie recipe in the book that we had to make yesterday they are amazing highly recommend trying them too.

I love the chemistry between Quinn and Campbell they are sizzling even when her brother is asleep in the bed next to them.

Review

I received Shattered Kingdom in return for an honest review from the author.

Sophia is just trying to take care of her sick father and when given the chance to save her father she sets out on the full moon. It sounds simple all she has to do is grab some flower that will save her dad how hard should that be. However, she quickly learns that not everything is at it seems and she's been drawn into a ne world and kept prisoner by a alpha king. Will she make it back to save her father? Or even save herself?

First off isn't that cover just stunning it's my favorite of all her covers I just love it. Sophia is amazing she's such a strong character who is willing to risk it all to save the ones she loves. I love Kaine but he's an alpha king with an attitude. There relationship is exactly what I expected from a Beauty and the Beast retelling. The chemistry between the two is sizzling which I loved they it just was perfect.

In true Sara Snow fashion it's a cliffhanger that had me screaming at my kindle because I'm ready for the next one. I love the werewolf and fae twist on the Beauty and the Beast retelling. It's my favorite fairytail so I had some high expectations but she knocked it out of the park. The story is beautiful it was hard to put down I finished it in two quick reading session due to real life getting in the way otherwise I would have devoured it in one afternoon.

I've been reading several of Sara Snows series but this one very well may be my new favorite I feel like I say that with each one because they just keep getting better and better. The characters in this one are easy to connect with and the story is captivating right from the start. I love the authors writing style it's easy to get lost in the magical worlds she creates. I can't wait for the next one to see what happens with Sophia and Kaine.
