I took part in a summer blogging challenge last year that was a lot of fun. I love the idea of having theme prompts but felt that more than 2 days a week was to much.

Day 6 & 7  
I can't seem to get caught up this summer. Hopefully by the end of summer I'll have all the revamping done and it will all be back to normal. 

Day 6 What are you currently binge watching? 

I'm all over when it comes to watching tv. Some days I binge watch and others I don't watch any tv. Currently I'm trying to catch up on Baywatch. I found it on TV and have been recording it. I've got about 12 episodes to watch and it records like 8 a week. One of my favorite tv shows to watch when I was a teenager. 

Day 7 Do you have any pets?

I have two big crazy dogs. 
My husky malamute Grimm is the perfect dog or at least he was till we thought he needed a friend. We added  Khaleesi our blue tick coonhound and he's turned into a brat. They are my babies and I love them to pieces. It's clear that I'm the cuddle object and they pout if they can't sit next to me. I end up sitting between them on the sofa most of the time. They are spoiled rotten, sleeping on the bed, on the sofa and heathy treats.

Day 3 - 5 

I had such a busy week last week I just didn't get the time to blog like I had planned. I've been working hard at planning posts ahead but it was so busy I'm behind. I should be ahead the rest of the summer 

Day 3 is What's on your summer bucket list
I had intended to make one but I didn't get around to it just yet. I'll share it on Thursday because I'm going to make one right now. 

Day 4 is Favorite Beverage 

This one is easy it's always going to be coffee from hot to cold I can drink it all day long in any kind of weather. Currently I have an amaretto latte which is so yummy. As the weather is expected to be warm I'm planning on brewing up some coffee for iced coffee later and might make some coffee icecubes. 

 Day 5 What's your weather currently?
It's beautiful outside and hopefully it will stay nice and cool outside.

Meaning behind your blog name. 

I spent a lot of time searching for a unique name something that fit my personal style. I've always kept notebooks with my thoughts, plans, lists, and just random stuff. Since my blog is all about reading I thought The Reading Diaries would be perfect. I actually searched all over to see if I could find a blog with the name as I was determined to be original and I didn't find one. Over the years the name has become a part of me, and I just love it so much.

Day 1 

Introduction and Recent Photo

Hi I'm Mandy! I've been 29 for a few years but that's not really important. I describe myself as a crafty, coffee drinking, booknerd who loves to bake and cook. It's a mouthful but it works to get it all in. I've been blogging for 5 years and never expected to love it as much as I do. It was actually my husbands idea to give it a try and now it's become an obsession. I've been an avid reader since I was a little girl but even before I could read I was bringing piles of books home from the library. As I've grown into a book hoarder my own little library has grown all the time.I love to bake it's one of my many hobbies and over the last few months I've perfected the art of homemade brownies. They are a little slice of amazing, but I try not to make them very often. I'm also super crafty from crochet, cross stitching and sewing are a few of my favorite ways to the past the time. I've gotten decent at sewing bags, and it's become my gift when a friend moves away.
