Top Ten Tuesday!
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke And The Brookish. Who doesn't love lists. They make life easy! And fun!! It's always a never ending topic.
This week's topic:
Top ten all about books and music this week.
This weeks is an interesting one because I listen to a lot of music while I read but it all depends on the genre. I don't so much put music to songs as listen to genre's of music that fit the theme a little. I'm a creature of habit. This one is a little tough.
1. Contemporary or romance I tend to listen to listen to romantic songs from the 80's like You're the Inspiration(Chicago), Glory of Love(Peter Cetera) Is This Love?(WhiteSnake), Up Where We Belong(Jennifer Warnes & Joe Cocker), Love Walks in (Van Halen) just to name a few.
2. Bullet for My Valentine I can find a song that fits almost any genre. They are typically one of the first on my playlist when I read and listen to music.
3. Kick ass female characters Pat Benatar almost all of her songs work for these. Laura Branigan Gloria is another of my faves. I like female artist who sing powerful songs.
4. Movie Soundtracks on Pandora I have a couple movie soundtrack channels that I listen to while reading. Lots of instrumental music as well as a little classical.
Much harder than I would have thought. I tend to be a mood reader and apparently I'm a mood music person.
I'm curious to see what everyone else's sharing this week.

ReplyDeleteI like listening to music when I read though I've never actually thought about what types of music. I'll have to look into that deeper now. Love the movie soundtracks on Pandora!
