Given the choice between her sister's wedding and witnessing the challenge for Alpha of the Salem pack, Maurin knows exactly where she'd rather be. Smack dead center in a pack of snarling werewolves wearing eau de filet mignon.

Until McKayla takes off the morning of her wedding. Being her sister's keeper will not excuse her from her job as the Council Liaison. Torn between obligations to a family she's avoided for almost a decade and the Council of Others, Maurin has less than twenty-four hours to set things right.

Review
I received Wolfsbane in return for an honest review as part of the tour hosted by Bewitching Book Tours. Maurin has been living temporarily above Cash for the last month as the wait for the alpha werewolf challenge rolled around. Her sister is due to be married in just a few short days which means she has to return to the home of her parents who have pretended that she doesn’t exist. Her sister is determined to have her at the wedding but after a disaster of luncheon getting to deal with the supernatural is better.

The day of the wedding her sister goes missing of course her mother blames her so Maurin is forced to drop everything jump in-between and find her missing sister who’s suddenly developed cold feet. After a trip to her house she learns the reason for her sister to flee. She needs to find her sister and fix her marriage before it’s to late. As well as get to the alpha challenge as witness for the council.

I like Maurin a lot she’s grown on me as the books progress and this one might just be my favorite. I like that she has a vampire boyfriend who is taking it slow after all as an immortal he has forever but he’s not in a rush. I like that we don’t have insta love just insta attraction. I also like that we had a chance to see more of Cash who saved her in the prior book.

Wolfsbane is the third installment in the Maurin Kincaide series that focus is mainly the local werewolf pack as well as a quick bridezilla sister. I really like the concept for Maurin we are learning more and more about her with each novel as well as the world she’s connected to. The author has created this unique little town of Salem which happens to have several different supernatural beings aside from the traditional witches one would expect. So far I’ve really enjoyed watching as Maurin has grown into her powers and finding her place among the other supernatural beings it just works. Wolfsbane has been my favorite so far but that could be in part that I like shifters. A truly captivating action packed novel that captures the imagination and hard to put down. Another beautifully done installment I can’t wait to see what happens in the next one.
