This week's topic:
Top ten popular authors I've never read
This one is tough because I've started a lot of popular series but never finished. So most of them I've read at least one book. I'm just not good at finishing.
This is a hard list because I can think at least a few dozen I've not read but have on my TBR list.
1. Lauren Kate - I have both Teardrop & Fallen on my bookshelf that I'm looking at right now but I haven't started either of them. I read somewhere that Fallen is going to be made into a movie so I need to get on that.
2. Dan Wells - I picked up Partials and even added Fragments to my physical bookshelf but I haven't read the first one and I know I have to add Ruin to my bookshelf because it feels weird to not have all the series. It does sound like a series I will love just haven't gotten around to it at the rate I'm going I'll have all the hardcovers before I start it.
3. Amy Plum - This is another one like Dan Wells. I have the first two Die for Me & Until I Die in Hardcover. I even have a ebook arc of her new book After the End I hope to start soon. I'm on zombie burn out but when I do crave again this is going to start with these.
4. Gillian Flynn - I have recently added Gone Girl to my TBR list. It sounds like a creepy book but with the movie coming out it sounds like I should give it a shot. My sister in laws read it in their book club and enjoyed it.
5. George R.R. Martin - As much as it pains me to admit I haven't read his books yet. It's really sad because I love the HBO show but I just haven't been able to talk myself into starting them. I do plan to read them all after I catch up so maybe in the next few months.
6. Colleen Hoover - I follow her on facebook she's a hoot. Sadly I haven't started any of her books yet. I do hope to in the future I even have Slammed & Hopeless on my kindle just haven't gotten to them yet. I've heard great things about her books.
7. Nicholas Sparks - I had hoped to challenge myself last year and read a few of his books. Didn't happen this year I plan to read at least a couple maybe the ones I haven't seen the movies of. I have only seen a few that have been turned into movies and those I loved like Safe Haven.
8. Jeaniene Frost - I have her first Night Huntress book on my shelf. It's been there for years with hopes that one day I'll pick it up. I don't know why I haven't the concept sounds interesting and I've heard so many good things.
9. Julie Kagawa - I have the first three of the Iron Fey in paperback as well as the kindle of Immortal Rules but I haven't read either. I've heard good things about both series.
10. E.L. James - I own the first one because it was referred to me but I can't bring myself to read them nor do I ever plan to. I don't plan to see the movie next year either.
