Synopsis

When Meg Cole’s father dies unexpectedly, she becomes the majority shareholder of his oil company and the single inheritor of his fortune. Though Meg is soft-spoken and tenderhearted–more interested in art than in oil–she’s forced to return home to Texas and to Whispering Creek Ranch to take up the reins of her father’s empire.

The last thing she has the patience or the sanity to deal with? Her father’s thoroughbred racehorse farm. She gives its manager, Bo Porter, six months to close the place down.
Bo’s determined to resent the woman who’s decided to rob him of his dream. But instead of anger, Meg evokes within him a profound desire to protect. The more time he spends with her, the more he longs to overcome every obstacle that separates them–her wealth, his unworthiness, her family’s outrage–and earn the right to love her.
But just when Meg begins to realize that Bo might be the one thing on the ranch worth keeping, their fragile bond is viciously broken by a force from Meg’s past. Can their love–and their belief that God can work through every circumstance–survive?

Review

I received Undeniably Yours from the publisher Bethany House Publishers in return for an honest review. Meg’s father has passed away making her the head of his oil company and his fortune. Cole Oil has always been passed down from the oldest child to their oldest choice so even though she has uncles in the business it’s her who runs the company. A company she’s tried very hard to avoid working at since getting out of college. Everything was starting to turn around she was supporting herself doing what she loved until her father’s death. Now she’s in charge of the company, plus she’s tasked with eliminating all her father’s hobbies she doesn't have any interest in.

As those in charge of his hobbies arrive in her office it’s not easy for her to tell them that she’s closing down their jobs. All of them accept it but one the manager of her father’s thoroughbred racehorses. He refuses to accept she’s closing down the farm coaxing her into giving him six months. Six months that Meg had no idea would change her life forever. When an unexpected visitor shows looking to find her ex-husband it brings all the memories to the surface. Yet instead of turning amber and her son away she offers her a chance to make something out of her life. As Meg starts to find her place in life she makes new friends, new love and even finding a way to do something to help people out. Yet another visitor from her past is dead set on ruining it all.

I love Meg she may have grown up wealthy but it didn’t mold her into the sweet compassionate woman she is today. She’s had some tough moments but she’s overcome them with the help of finding her faith. I feel like she found a perfect man in the rugged Bo he’s everything she will ever need in a man and much more. He loves her for who she is not the money she has plus they have great chemistry.

Undeniably Yours is a Christian romance novel that takes the concept of the wealthy boss who falls for the employee. However unlike typical romance stories Meg is the wealthy one while Bo the cowboy is the employee. The characters are engaging it’s hard not to fall in love with them and root for them when they struggle. The book is brilliantly written it mixes romance with real life and the Christian aspect it not overpowering. I’m still new to the Christian novels but Undeniably Yours made me a fan it’s just a clean story that teens as well as adults will appreciate.
4 out of 5 stars
