Diary Entry

Diary Update

July 18th 2013

This is a little Mandy post that I attempt daily. I love being able to ramble about all things bookish.

I'm craving crochet. Think I'll try to make slippers today.
Hoping to get a lot of reading done, but the way things have been you never know anymore at my house.  Still dogsitting hope she goes home this weekend so our house can return to normal. I miss walking the puppy but I can't walk two crazy over 70lbs dogs. She's pulls so of course mine wants to go with her.

Currently reading.
Still reading Romancing the Bookworm no one wants to let me read. Still almost done and still love it!!!

Up next
ZOMBIES!!!!!! Ya can't wait Undead has been teasing me for a year almost screaming read me. So it's about time.

My new words with friends game starts tomorrow! Can't wait to see what my choice and words for the week are.

Cover Reveal

by Nely Cab

Happened to see this one in my email this morning. I can't wait to check it out love the cover and the synopsis sound interesting.

Isis can control her dreams. Or she could—until recently. The creature in her nightmares has been haunting her for months. As if being dumped wasn’t bad enough, now she dreads going to sleep. She decides to confront the creature and win back some of her peace; only, she finds that he’s not a monster and he’s not a dream.

A sacrifice for love, a shocking discovery and a jealous ex-boyfriend blur the lines between reality and dreams, making it hard to tell who the real monsters are.

Who would’ve known…that sometimes love is lethal?

I've had this series on my TBR shelf forever. Even received a copy for review and yet I've just not found the time to start it. By the end of the summer I plan to read them all. I loved her zombie series.

by Amanda Hocking

Fall under the spell of Wake—the first book in an achingly beautiful new series by celebrated author Amanda Hocking—and lose yourself to the Watersong.

Gorgeous. Fearless. Dangerous. They're the kind of girls you envy; the kind of girls you want to hate. Strangers in town for the summer, Penn, Lexi and Thea have caught everyone's attention—but it’s Gemma who’s attracted theirs. She’s the one they’ve chosen to be part of their group.

Gemma seems to have it all—she’s carefree, pretty, and falling in love with Alex, the boy next door. He’s always been just a friend, but this summer they’ve taken their relationship to the next level, and now there’s no going back. Then one night, Gemma’s ordinary life changes forever. She’s taking a late night swim under the stars when she finds Penn, Lexi and Thea partying on the cove. They invite her to join them, and the next morning she wakes up on the beach feeling groggy and sick, knowing something is different.

Suddenly Gemma is stronger, faster, and more beautiful than ever. But her new powers come with a terrifying price. And as she uncovers the truth, she’s is forced to choose between staying with those she loves—or entering a new world brimming with dark hungers and unimaginable secrets.
