Waiting On Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating.

This has always been my favorite weekly because it allows me to seek out new books coming in the future. 

I'm currently obsessed with Romantasy books at the moment. The covers are stunning, and I have so many I can't wait to come out.

I've lived in the mud quarter my entire life, watching as the fireguards came every five years to select the prettiest girls to go to the Seat to start new lives and get it all: husbands, houses without a speck of dirt, and enough food that hunger wasn't a constant pain in your belly.

This year it's my turn.

And the dragon that forces our kingdom to cower under our magnificent dome and hide behind stone walls hasn't shown any signs of leaving.

And he's taken an odd liking to me.
