Review

I received Adventures of the Amethyst Dragon in return for an honest review from the author.

Asta is a dragon speaker who is bonded to Iona a amethyst dragon. Together they exploring the islands updating the topographic map that she's been working on. What should be a routine trip turns quickly into something else when they are netting out of the sky. Now they've stuck on a strange island with a village and another dragon rider with no idea what's in store.

I like Asta she and Iona have a unique bond not your typical dragon and rider connection. I love the idea of an amethyst dragon as purple is one of my favorite colors. I found Asta easy to connect with and intelligent as she's created her own supplies she has an artistic side which I really liked. I like Iona she has a great personality I love that she's stubborn and laughs like a human or at least attempts.

I knew the moment I saw the cover for this one I had to reach out and jumped at the opportunity to review. I devoured the story within just a afternoon it was hard to put down because I wanted to know more about Asta and Iona's adventure. This was a fast paced whirlwind adventure that kept me on the end of my seat till the very end.

This is my first book by the author she did a lovely job creating a captivating story that kept my attention till the very last page and left me wanting more. I found the world that Asta lives in with the other colors of dragons interesting it's a unique idea which I really enjoyed. My only complaint was I wanted more story I wasn't ready to see it end just yet I like my stories chunky. I look forward to reading more about the adventures of this duo as well as checking out more of the authors books. Highly recommend if you are a fan of dragon rider books.
