Synopsis

It took me a while to learn that sometimes no matter how much, or how hard you love someone, or something, you have to let them go. You can’t save a sinking ship.

Sometimes, you have someone else you have to be strong for, who needs you more.

You make a choice.

A devastating one.

And you hope, maybe one day, they’ll come back to you.

Review

I received The Confidence of Wildflowers in return for an honest review from the publisher.

The Resurrection of Wildflowers starts off 6 years after the end of the first book. Salem has returned for the first time to the hometown she left as her mother is dying of cancer. After everything that happened with Thayer she's not been back because she didn't want to see the man who broke her heart. She's hoping to avoid see him this visit but fate has another plan. He's not the same man he was when she left and he's determined to prove they need a second chance.

I love Salem and Thayer they have such a beautiful tragic story emotional love story. It's been an emotional roller coaster from start to the very last page. They have such a special connection that even the years apart didn't change the love for each other. They fit together so perfect and Thayer is just the most amazing man for our girl. They are perfect for each other it just took a little bit to get to this place.

I honestly think I spent most of the book crying happy tears and sad tears but that's because I was so emotionally invested in Salem and Thayer's story. They are hands down my favorite romance couple they are just so sweet together and real which I loved. They will always have a special place place in my heart. I don't typically read contemporary romance but this duet just sounded beautiful and I am so glad that I did.

This duet captured my heart it's beautifully written from start to finish. The author has done an amazing job creating a captivating story that sparks the heart as well as the imagination. This book has all the feels it's been hard to put down but sad to finish. I'm not ready to let go of Thayer and Salem yet. I just loved it so much it's a beautiful story. Highly recommend this is a must for everyone. I wish I could read this duet again from the beginning to experience how sweet and beautiful it is.
