It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
Welcome to It's Monday! is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at Bookjourney to share with others what you've read the past week and are planning to read the next.
Finished 2 but I'm currently reading like 5 books. Which has never happened before because I typically can't read more than one book at a time. A couple of them I'm almost done with too so should be several finished in the next day or two.
Last week
Fatal Beauty by Nazarea Andrews - Review
Currently Reading
Shadow's Edge by J.T. Geissinger - Goodreads (Only about 25% in)
Attack on Titan by Hajime Isayama - Goodreads (Almost done)
I'm hoping to get a few more in this week. Just not sure yet which ones. I've been in a funk.
Musing Mondays
My Answer:
I worry that meeting the fictional character will ruin the illusion I have created about them. Like what If I got to meet Mercy Thompson and she's not exactly how I visioned her in the books. I would be crushed to find out it wasn't exactly like I expected. So no I wouldn't want to meet any of my favorites because I prefer the illusion I've got going.
