Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday!
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke And The Brookish. Who doesn't love lists. They make life easy! And fun!! It's always a never ending topic.

This week's topic:

Fairytales & fairytale Retellings

I've made two lists this week the ones I've read and enjoyed and the ones I want to read.

Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge ~ I really enjoyed this one it was unique and entertaining.
Cinder by Marissa Meyer ~ One of my favorite retelling series it's so well done. Love it!

Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter ~ I loved this book. It's so a clever interpretation of Alice.

Ice by Sarah Beth Durst ~ One of my favorite retellings of my favorite story.

Spelled by Betsy Schow ~ I really enjoyed this one so good.

Want to read
Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge ~ This one is on my bookshelf just haven't gotten to it yet.
Splintered by A.G. Howard ~ I have all three on the bookshelf with anticipation of reading them but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas ~ I've got this one but my friend has it. Looking forward to reading it.

The Wrath & The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh ~ Is another book on my to read list.

What are your favorites?

  1. I really liked Cinder as well and A Court of Thorns and Roses is on my TBR! Great list. :)

  2. Great list! I really enjoyed Cinder and ACOTAR! I haven't read Ice but I don't any to now :)

  3. Nice! Lots and lots of Cinder/Lunar Chronicles going around today! LOVED Alice in Zombieland, though I felt like it wasn't an excellent fairy tale retelling, but still an excellent and incredibly amazing read with the occasional AiW reference! LOL! Weird, but that's why this one didn't make my list despite my love for the series!

I looooved Cruel Beauty! I still need to read Crimson Bound myself. And oooh TWATD is another I still need to read! Loved Splintered and adored ACOTAR! Great picks!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!

  4. The Wrath and the Dawn is a MUST read! So far it's my favorite of the summer and possibly my favorite of the year.
