The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post
Hosted by:

The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share new ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Happy Sunday!
The weather has been funny some days it's super cold others it's so hot you need the AC on. Currently, it's Saturday night all the doors and windows are open, and it's chilly. A nice break from all the heat I know we are going to have soon enough.

Kids are on the last week of school and then we go into summer break which will be nice. I'm ready for the kids to sleep past 630 on the weekends. It also means we can hit the weekend driveins this summer which is one of our favorite summer activities.

Currently 73 of 250 and 20 books behind which keeps growing.

Posts you may have missed at TRD this week or the prior since it's two weeks this week.
I'm almost done with a comic and manga so maybe later today.

Crafty projects & Baking/cooking & Gardening.
Still working on the mermaid tail that never seems to end. I can see the light as I get closer to being done. I've also started a cross stitch project as the mermaid tail is getting old. It's going to be the chameleon eventually.

Other than a batch of eggless cookies no baking this week but I plan to change that. I'm still working on my foodie plans for the new week.

We've got a couple of tomatoes and this am a handful of blueberries.

Still trying to get sleep back to normal. For now not sressing the fitness. Still hoping for 10k per day.

Quote/ fun stuff.

  1. It's been hot and cold here too, but today was nice. In fact it's turning out to be a pretty good weekend! And I love tomatoes and blueberries from the garden.

Hope you have a great Memorial Day!

  2. Grats on the haul :) dang, that stitching project looks great! I used to love to do that as well, but #time.

  3. It was so warm here this week then we had some thunder storms. I love the cover of Ivory and Bone.

  4. I am curious about what you will think of Ivory and Bone. I have seen mixed reviews. I should look at your manga post. I need to start reading some because I love anime! Have a wonderful week. :)

  5. I just finished the Darkest Corner by Liliana Hart and loved it!! It was quirky and suspenseful! Hope you enjoy book 2!

  6. Glad your kids are going on Summer Vacation! I hope you have a great summer!

  7. I'm curious to see your mermaid when it's fiisihed. I wish I had time to do more crafting. The itch is growing. Perhaps I'll try to do some outside by the pool while listening to a book. There's an idea! It's hot and muggy here so the AC is welcome:) Have a lovely weekend and enjoy your books.
