Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke And The Bookish. Who doesn't love lists. They make life easy! And fun!! It's always a never ending topic.

This week's topic:

Top Ten Books I Wish Had (More/Less) X In Them (the original idea came from Andi who suggested top ten books I wish had more kissing which I thought could be fun but also realize it might not be everyone's thing! Could also be top ten books I wish had more diversity in them or top ten books I wish had less violence in them or less romance focus in them or top ten books I wish had more dragons in them. IDK! Have some fun with this one!)

This week is a tough topic. So I decided to do more books that need Unicorns.
Sarah Beth Durst created Drink, Slay, Love which is a vampire unicorn story twisted and I think it would make for a interesting idea. As this was a harder topic I did a top 3

1. Twilight by Stephenie Meyers  - Imagine if in addition to the wolves we also had killer unicorns to take out the vampires. Couldn't you see them killing them by using their horns like stakes maybe they could team of with female vampire slayers add a little Buffy to the store. Don't get me wrong I loved Twilight but you can't go wrong with Unicorns and slayers.

2. Run by Gillian Zane - I read this one earlier this year it's a zombie story. Now picture this Zombies need someone who can kill them so why not magical unicorns. Maybe the horses that are bitten evolve losing all color and growing massive horns and making them lethal to zombies. Something has to be able to kill zombies if we have them why not unicorns.

3. Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs - This girl has encountered everything else in her books it's about time she had an encounter with a Unicorn. Maybe it's a good unicorn slaying monsters like the Red Bull or a bad one that eats people. Or maybe even just a unicorn shape shifter would be interesting.

What's on your list?

  1. Heehee! I like this topic! Really any paranormal/fantasy book would work because unicorns are so underrated I feel like! Lol!

  2. Haha! I like your proposals for Twilight - I wouldn't say no to those! I'd also wouldn't say no for Sam and Dean from Supernatural to be on the hunt in Forks and La Push! :D

  3. The only one I've read is Mercy Thompson and YES!! She really has run into almost everything, but I'm still waiting on unicorns and dragons. Awesome list, funny and creative. Wish I'd thought of something similar!
