Glowing Eyes. In the chaos of the moment, the only thing I could focus on were the yellow eyes that followed my every move. They were eerie and seemed more at home on an animatronic creation than on the living, breathing animal that had me cornered in the alley.

I’m sure my jaw dropped. “You think I want to sit and drink wine after being kidnapped?”
“You weren’t kidnapped. You were saved.”
“I was tied up and thrown in the back seat of a car. That’s kidnapping.”
