This week's topic:
Top ten Tuesday --- all time favorite books from the past three years
Oh this week is going to be tough narrowing it down to ten in the last three years may just be a little tough.
1. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (Review) - We read this one summer of 2014 in my book club. I picked it out because it was on my TBR list for ages. One of the most beautiful books I've ever read. I keep hoping that they will make a movie because it would be awesome to see it play out on the big screen screen but nothing yet.
2, 3 4. The Selection Trio by Kiera Cass (The Selection Review)(The Elite Review)(The One Review) - This is one of my favorite series. I just loved every moment of them and have actually gotten several of the girls in my book club to read them. I can't see this one being successful as a movie but I think it would be a great TV show on the CW.
5, 6. Immortal Descendants by April White Series (Marking Time Review)(Tempting Fate Review) So far I've only read the first two but I loved them both. The characters are awesome I love Saira she's one of my favorite paranormal characters. I love the way the author weaves in some history into the story using Saira's ability as a clocker (Time travel). I'm anxiously looking forward to the next one.
7. Drink, Slay, Love by Sarah Beth Durst (Review) One of my first by this author that I just loved. It's a fun fast paced vampire story with a unique twist of unicorns. It's one of those boks I can see myself reading again in the future should I need a light vampire read.
8, 9. 10. Alyssa Rose Ivy - (The Hazards of Skinny Dipping Review)(Dire Review)(Lure Review) This one is more of an author I'm going to pick just three of her series which I've loved. I haven't read a book I didn't love. She's one of my favorite authors and I'm currently working my way through all her books. She writes a wide variety of New Adult novels contemporary and paranormal.

Great choices. I've only read The Selection and the Elite but some of the others are on my TBR list.

ReplyDeleteI read The Night Circus in 2011, so it was just outta my list, or it would have been number one for me. My favorite book EVER, I loved it so much. I love coming across people who loved it as well. The Selection series didn't quite make my top 10, but I did love it a lot. Here's my Top 10 of past 3 Years post.
ReplyDeleteI really need to read The Night Circus. I've had it for years but haven't gotten around to reading it. YES! to The Selection. I actually was hesitant about reading them at first, but I quickly came to love them. I own Drink, Slay, Love and I really like Sarah Beth Durst, so I'm not sure why I haven't read it yet. I'll have to check out Alyssa Rose Ivy since you're always raving about her books! Great list!
