Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday September 11th 2013

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating. In my case not so patiently waiting for the new releases, which I lack.

I saw this one a few weeks ago. I love the cover and the synopsis sounds yummy!

Ava, a teenage girl living aboard the male-dominated deep space merchant ship Parastrata, faces betrayal, banishment, and death. Taking her fate into her own hands, she flees to the Gyre, a floating continent of garbage and scrap in the Pacific Ocean, in this thrilling, surprising, and thought-provoking debut novel that will appeal to fans of Across the Universe, by Beth Revis, and The Handmaid's Tale, by Margaret Atwood.

What are you waiting on?

  1. Sounds very interesting and kinda different, which is nice. Wonder what she'll find? Nice pick.

  2. Hmmm..interesting. I've read The Handmaid's Tale and Across the Universe so the combination of the two may be a bit on the side of crazy. Lol.
