Review
Lexie is such a lovely character she's spent her whole life taking care of her sister and supporting her family. Even putting what she loves on the back burner to be there for her sister. She takes a job working as an assistant for Kaden who is known to be a challenge. However, he's never met Lexie and she's up for the challenge.
I loved Lexie she's such a sweetheart and I just found her so easy to connect with and my heart that she's had to give up what she wants. Kaden's has his own issues but he just complements Lexie so well. Plus Kaden is just so swoon worth it's no surprise he and Lexie has this sizzling chemistry that just works so well.
I can't believe I haven't read a book by Carly Phillips before because clearly I've been missing out. One of my favorite tropes is billionaire office romance so I had some high expectations. She nailed it beautifully exceeding my expectations with a captivating steamy romance. I loved every moment of Lexie's and Kadens story its sweet but oh so spicy just the right balance.
I'm addicted to Carly Phillips storytelling she's done a fantastic job creating engaging characters that I just fell in love with. The story is a perfect balance of romance with just the right amount of spice to leave you swooning. This is my first but will not be my last as I already have the next one ready to go. I can't wait to continue the series and explore her other books. Perfect for fans who love billionaire romance! As for the narrator she did an awesome job it was easy to get lost in the story.
