#DustOffYourBookshelf Thursday - 2 & 3

#DustOffYourBookshelf Thursday
Dust off your Bookshelf was originally created to share books that have been on my “to read pile” for a long time. Some so long I’ve forgotten that they are there, and have purchased duplicate copies. Each week I will share on my blog as well as Instagram a new title. Some may be newer and some so old I have forgotten they are there. I do have issues with buying books and never reading them. I’m hoping that by share them I will be motivated to read them. Plus it’s always fun to find new books hiding within the bookshelves. Feel free to join in and share on Instagram or your blog. Just let me know so I can check out your choice this week too. Just use #DustOffYourBookshelf

I'm adding a twist this year to #dustOffYourBookshelf Thursdays
I'm challenging myself to read each book I feature on this weekly.
My goal is to read 52 books off my dusty shelf.
2 of 52 done.

I didn't have a chance to post last weeks crazy busy. However, I did read a book off my dusty shelf for the challenge and I have a new one for the new week.

Last weeks book was

Once Upon A Zombie by Billy Phillips & Jenny Nissenson (Review)

Synopsis
She’s vulnerable. Phobic. And fourteen-years-old. Ever since Caitlin Fletcher’s mom mysteriously vanished (or left?) four years ago, Caitlin has become riddled with irrational fears. Her life takes a turn towards the bizarre when she winds up in a strange new universe where she discovers that there's one thing more frightening than zombies and panic attacks—the truth!

Bestselling and award-winning author Billy Phillips has spun a witty and original tale for the middle-grade market with a relatable teen heroine, wry humor, and a plot twist that packs an emotional wallop!

My book choice this week:

Xoe: Or Vampires, and Werewolves, and Demons, Oh My!
by Sara C. Roethle
Add to (Goodreads)
Synopsis
Xoe Meyers had a normal life. So she was stuck going to high school, and she only had a few friends to call her own. She liked her normal life. Things were about to change though, because there's a new guy in her small town, and he is anything but normal. Before Xoe can say, "Werewolf," her best friend's life is in peril, and Xoe's world is turned upside-down. Then, of course, there's Jason. Xoe doesn't trust him as far as she can throw him, and given that he's a vampire, she'd have to be able to catch him first.

Feel free to dig through your shelves and share what you find.
Please leave a comment telling me where I can check it out.
