The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post
Hosted by:

The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share new ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Just a cold wet week. The rain has been on and off all week. I did get a beautiful picture of my view dropping off the munchkin at school. It's so green and pretty compared to the dry summers.
My little one turned 7 yesterday, and gosh where has the time gone.
I made chocolate chip pancakes with strawberries and whip cream for breakfast. We took her with a few of her friends to see Trolls and an ice-cream shop after. Easy fun day.

I put up our tree's this week. We have done our white tree like a snowman the last couple of years and I really love it. I also made my first book tree, i just don't trust the dogs to do a big one yet.

My husband came home from a quick trip to this week. They spent a few days in Orlando so he brought me a new Starbucks mug, and Alice mug. He had to get a grumpy mug for himself because it's so him in the morning. I even got a peppermint donut from Dunkin Donunt which was amazing and it's been years since I had one.

It was a busy week so not a lot of reading but today is going to be a lazy day! Football and reading perfect plan for the week. I do have bread to bake and cookies today but those aren't to bad.

Fun posts you may have missed at TRD this week.

Happy birthday to your daughter! Seven is a great age; they're still cute and little and haven't come close to the teen years yet...LOL.

Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.

  2. Your post is so pretty and fun! And you did a book tree! I hope to try one for a centerpiece on my dining table. Just need to pick which books. Watched the video and how to do it and doesn't seem too complicated...is it? LOL Enjoy those fabulous new reads and stay warm.

  4. I love that photo! I wish it would rain more here. Happy Birthday to your daughter! I hope she had a wonderful day yesterday. Love those pancakes--my favorite is chocolate chip pancakes with lots of whipped cream too. I haven't tried strawberries on it. Will have to consider that. :-)

Love your trees! The snowman one looks so cool.

  5. That does look very green and nice! It's all white here since we got dumped on with snow, I think I'd rather have the rain lol. The trees look great- I love the book tree! How fun. And Dunkin Donuts- we don't have one around here anymore, it went out! Miss that place.

Good luck with the reading this week!

  6. That's a stunning picture! Especially as here mostly all the trees are barren by now. Sounds like your kid had a fun day and those pancakes sound delicious! I like how you've done your Christmas tree, that's such a cute idea. And your bookish tree looks nice too, I hope your dogs leave it alone so you can make a bigger one. I hope you'll have a great week!
