I've been noticing that when the hubby is home I only get to read when he plays on the console and he has them all. Or when he watches sports. I like to cuddle up on the big sofa with a warm blanket and coffee. With the big (huskamute) and my hubby we tend to keep the house nice and cool so I always need a blanket. I also like to drink coffee or tea in addition to my bottle of water.
Now that the hubby will be gone for 60 days starting tomorrow it will be the same just the kids watching or playing games. Or the house may be quiet which is my preferred less distractions.
I usually do my reading when the Mr. is preoccupied or out. I've tried reading while he watches TV but even if it's a show I don't want to watch, I find myself distracted.
