Thankfully I'm in Northern California so the weather has been beautiful. It's been in the upper 70's all week however on base it tends to be windy. Since I recently moved on base I haven't found a reading spot outside yet. Most of the grass on base is astro turf or fake grass which isn't really comfortable to sit on. However I do have a rocking chair on my patio which happens to be my reading spot while Grimm is outside which is a lot because the little guy likes to sit and watch the clouds or lay in the grass. However I don't get much reading done watching Grimm he's so cute to watch daydream. This is him two weeks ago at 5 weeks old. I've also spent some time reading outside while my boa Boss cruises around in the front yard. He's not that big only 5 feet. However he's a great way to shock the new neighbors.

HaHaha you sound just like me. Except I'm in SoCal (mojave desert) and it's too darn hot to be outside. When it's nice out though, I take the dog and my tortoise out and let them cruise the yard. It must be a military wife thing. LoL
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I've had a few dirty looks for my boa being outside in the front yard. I've been trying to talk the hubby into a tortoise forever but he feels I have enough drama from the boa refusing to eat half the time and don't need another emo reptile. However he was easy to talk into a dog that will be over 100 lbs so maybe I still have hope for a tortoise. Have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by.

Wow, if I were your neighbor I think I would find a way to get you back. I used to have a pet snake but he was small and big ones like that kind of scared me... ok they scare me a lot! ;)
