Synopsis
What if the person who broke your heart turned
out to be the only one who could mend it?
Nic Wilkinson is a responsible, organized, disciplined rugby
player at the top of his game. Emma Martens is a sometimes-scattered,
often-emotional, and always-broke would-be designer with a big chip on her
shoulder where Nic’s concerned.
They have no history together, except one perfect week.
Nothing in common anymore, except the most important thing of all.
Getting together again would be messy. Complicated. Scary.
And, just maybe, worth every risk.
Review
I received Just For Fun in return for an honest
review as part of the tour hosted by Reading Addiction Blog Tours. Six years
ago after a wedding that ended on her wedding day Emma end up on a plan headed
for her honeymoon alone. It’s on the plane she meets Nic the handsome rugby
player. The pair spends a steamy weekend in Fuji but Nic leaves Emma after the
week. As fate would have it Emma ends up pregnant. She even attempts to contact
Nic but ends up being pushed away.
Six years later Nic happens across a little boy
who reminds him of himself at that age. It’s when he sees the boy’s mother who
happens to be Emma that things start to click. He seeks her out to find out the
truth, after a DNA test it’s confirmed. Emma is unsure what to expect from Nic
after not hearing from him during Zacks first six years. However Nic is
determine to make it right, even at the expense of his Fiancé.
I didn’t read the series in order so I was sure
what to expect by reading the forth book first. I’ve also never read a book
written in Australia so this book was a new experience for me. I found the
story quick paced and easy to get lost in I know I did stay up super late one
night reading. I found Emma to be very likable as a character she was easy for
me to relate to. At first I wasn’t sure about Nic I mean he wanted to do the
right thing which I liked but I didn’t care for his relationship with Claudia.
However as the book progressed I like the idea of Emma and Nic they just fit
together it had me wondering how their lives would have been different if Nic
hadn’t left her. This is my first book by Rosalind James but I enjoyed it very
much it was entertaining and I’m a sucker for a cute romance. I will defiantly be checking out her other
books.

Thanks so much for the review, Mandy--and for reading and reviewing while you were moving! That was pretty heroic! Best, Rosalind
