Cover Characteristic - Historical Romance

Cover Characteristic - Historical Romance
 Hosted by Sugar & Snark

Each week we will post 5 of our favorite covers to go with the theme of the week.
I'm a huge cover fan so this is a great meme for me.

I haven't read as many Historical Romance as I like so finding the covers for this week should help my TBR grow by leaps and bounds. I can see a trend lots of couples in passionate embraces, girls in dresses or just script.

Top 4

The Luckiest Lady in London by Sherry Thomas - Must have a girl with a dress on my list and this green one is pretty.
The Rake by Mary Jo Putney - I like the simple script with the feather.
Defy Not the Heart by Johanna Lindsey - This is how I pictured romance covers as a kid.
Highland Velvet by Jude Deveraux - I like the covers with the scenery.

Favorite
The Bride by Julie Garwood - This also happens to be my favorite historical romance series.
The Wedding by Julie Garwood - Can't have The Bride without the wedding. Love these books and their covers.
I love this duo so much I own the ebooks and the physical paperbacks and always keep them on my kindle so if I get the urge. I've read these so many times over and over.

What's on your list this week?

  1. I don't know what I'm going to read yet. I think I'll just randomly choose a book from my kindle. Great covers, have fun reading the books!
