The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share new ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
This week of quarantine has been crazy nutty and pictures kind of slipped my mind with everything else going on. We've had days of homework that have taken us 5 to 7 hours of homework. So it's been a very long week and we still have so much work to my daughter and I are both overwhelmed. Hopefully, with everything going on our 4th-grade teacher will figure it out and stop overwhelming all of her students. Thankfully we aren't the only ones struggling the whole class is having days like us.
We are still social distancing and it's awful. I hate not being around people it's to quiet and while I may be quiet it's still nice to be around the comforting noise of people. We have been hanging with my partner in crime across the street going for walks and enjoying adult conversation and our kid are having a little social interaction.
So far all my friends and family are still feeling healthy. I've been doing a lot of news watching the virus around the world. I'm scared for the world but hopeful that we are coming together to find a cure and vaccine to save people. It's interesting with the world shut down we started to repair our ozone layer. Maybe this will teach us to take better care of the planet.
Spending the morning making a plan for the new week. Hopefully, a better routine is the goal.

I don't have any book purchased but I have picked up a bunch of kindle freebies that I can't wait to read. This crazy hectic week I just haven't had much time to shop.

Sorry to hear about your kid's struggles. I can't imagine how kids are dealing with trying to go to school online. College and high school age, sure. But little kids? That's got to be rough. I don't even know how my sister is really handing it since she's a teacher trying to teach that way and my niece is learning this way. I never really liked online learning myself when I was a student, I struggled to learn that way. Hoping all the best for you and your daughter!

ReplyDeleteLockdown is hard but hopefully it will do it's job and slow the virus enough to save lives. Hang in there. :)
