The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
Recently Feature & Follow has gotten a makeover now each week we will have a prompt to respond to.

Any other way you like.
My email followers are low and I'm working on changing that. However, you are welcome to follow in your preferred form.  If you want to follow via GFC just in case it goes away I ask you follow a second way, email, Linky, Bloglovin'. Thanks!!!!

This Week's Prompt:

What’s Your Book Betrayal Story? (Someone borrowed a book and destroyed it? Waited for a book for forever and it was terrible?

Answer:
Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K Hamilton
Add it to your (Goodreads)
I've loaned out a copy of Guilty Pleasures at least a dozen times over the years. I wish I had an exact record of how many times I've purchased a copy. I think I've had at one time every cover. It seems to be the book that never comes back. The reason most of the time is that they loved it so much they ran out and got the next couple and forgot to return it. However, they never do return it.
As the series has progressed it's kind of turned into my not so favorite but I keep hoping it will get back to the Anita I love. This is the first book and the new one coming out.

Anyone else have this happen?

  1. Look on the bright side, at least you're spreading the love for a great series! It sucks that you don't see any of the copies again though. You must be responsible for a fair chunk of the book sales!

Old follower - happy F&F Friday!

  2. Oh bummer. I hate when people do that. It's pretty much why I fear to loan books out myself!

  3. I hate it when people don't return your books! It just takes away from your own book collection!

  4. I feel like I'd lose a friend if I forgot to give back a book I borrowed, that's why I don't do it. It's easier on the relationship to just buy the book. Old follower, Bloglovin'
