Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday!
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke And The Bookish. Who doesn't love lists. They make life easy! And fun!! It's always a never ending topic.

This week's topic:

Required Reading for Paranormal fans.

This one was hard to keep at 10 but I did it.

1. Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs - A must in the paranormal world she's an auto buy drop everything series for me.  ( had to share the new cover)

2. Baba Yaga series by Deborah Blake - A unique series that takes the concept of Baba Yaga and breathes new life into her.

3. Flight by Alyssa Rose Ivy - Is the starting point of her Pteron world. From here she's branched out to other creatures living in her world. It keeps expanding and finding new characters to love.

4. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas - This is one of my favorite new series.
5. The Accidentals series by Dakota Cassidy - This series each book has a paranormal creature that get's a Happy ever after.

6.  Shifters series by Rachel Vincent - Love this series of cat shifters.

7. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead - I love this series. It's a must for any vampire fan.

8. Monster Haven Series by R.L. Naquin - a unique spin into the monster and supernatural world.

9. Aurora Sky: Vampire Hunter by Nikki Jefford - Must have a vampire slayer on the list and Aurora is the best at that.
10. Coveted by Shawntelle Madison - Always need a hoarding werewolf on every list.

I worked hard to keep it to ten. All are amazing series and I high recommend them all some are my favorites.
What's on your top ten list this week?

  2. Great topic! I'm not a huge paranormal/urban fantasy fan, but there are a few books and series I've really fallen for. Jim C. Hines's Magic Ex Libris series tops the list, but I also like Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid series (seriously, you have to try them, if only for Oberon the dog); Keri Arthur's Spook Squad series, the Diana Tregarde books by Mercedes Lackey, and Mary Behre's Tidewater series (which isn't exactly paranormal but close.)

ACOTAR is on my TBR shelf, along with Seanan McGuire's Rosemary and Rue (the first October Daye book) and Shana Abe's The Smoke Thief (the first in her historical dragon-shifter romance series.) I will admit I'm not that deeply into werewolves and vampires, but I've heard so much about Patricia Briggs's Mercy Thompson series that I will probably try it at some point. And you've got me curious about Deborah Blake's Baba Yaga books. Thanks for the suggestion!
