Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday November 12th 2014
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating. In my case not so patiently waiting for the new releases, which I lack.

This is one of my favorite series, and it's been a long time since we had a new book. Bonus it's coming out right before my birthday. I kind of like the cover because I like seeing how the author in-visions one of my favorite couples.

Dead Heat
by Patricia Briggs
Expected Publication March 3rd 2015
(Goodreads)

Synopsis
THE NEW CHARLES AND ANNA NOVEL

Praised as “the perfect blend of action, romance, suspense and paranormal,"* the Alpha and Omega novels transport readers into the realm of the werewolf, where Charles Cornick and Anna Latham embody opposite sides of the shifter personality. Now, a pleasure trip drops the couple into the middle of some bad supernatural business…

For once, mated werewolves Charles and Anna are not traveling because of Charles’s role as his father’s enforcer. This time, their trip to Arizona is purely personal, as Charles plans to buy Anna a horse for her birthday. Or at least it starts out that way...

Charles and Anna soon discover that a dangerous Fae being is on the loose, replacing human children with simulacrums. The Fae’s cold war with humanity is about to heat up—and Charles and Anna are in the cross fire.

What are you waiting on?

  2. I'm so behind with this series!! Same with the Mercy Thompson series. I've only read book one of Charles and Anna's but I've gotten up to River Marked in Mercy's books. I'm actually trying to catch up now since I got the newest ones from the Library. Great pick!

  3. OOh nice pick! I kinda fell out of this series. Or really fell out of the author. I liked her books and then I read unfavorable reviews of what was her latest some time ago and I just never bothered to pick it up again. I did like it at the time, but guess just not enough to keep with it. Oh well.

    Hope you enjoy this installment!
