Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke And The Brookish. Who doesn't love lists. They make life easy! And fun!! It's always a never ending topic.

This week's topic:
Top ten books that make me cry

I try really hard to avoid the books that make me cry. That being said I'm a sucker for a happy ever after.

1. Always and Forever by Karla J. Nellenbach (Review) This is one of those powerful stories that steals your heart. It's a teary read that pulled at my heartstrings the whole time. The book is about a teenage girl who's dying of cancer. I would read it again and I'm sure I will in the future. I used a box of kleenex and couldn't put the book down.

2. Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry (Review) I had happy tears at the end of this one because I loved Echo and Noah they were perfect for each other. I'm also a sucker for to broken people to fall in love and find that together they are whole. This one was happy tears but worth it.

3. Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire (Review) I loved this book from start to finish. Another of those broken souls finding love and becoming whole. I have a feeling my list is full of them this week. This one was an emotional rollercoaster but I got my much wanted happy ever after. Plus who doesn't love Travis... I can honestly say I've been on the fence so I haven't read the second book yet or the novella but I'm dying to know what happened in Vegas so it's looking more like it will happen sooner than later.

Well as you can see my list is super short this week. I'm a sucker for broken people finding love. I think part of it stems from finding my soul mate and being broken without him. I just connect with the screwed up emotional characters which I love.

What do you have on your list this week? I'm curious to see what everyone else is read.

  1. I'm the opposite - I LOVE books that make me cry!! I love a happy ending too, though - so I guess books that make me cry that ultimately have a happy ending are the best! :-)
