Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday!
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke And The Brookish. Who doesn't love lists. They make life easy! And fun!! It's always a never ending topic.

This week's topic:
Top ten books that will make you swoon

I've been on a innocent romance kick recently. While I do enjoy my swoony moments they tend to be a little tame by most standards recently.  However I've read some super steamy swoony books in the past as well. Since we all have a different idea of swoony I thought I would share a swoon worthy moment for each book.
1. Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire - This one was an emotional roller coaster but very swoon worthy. I've not read the next book or the novella but it's on my TBR for the near future.
He pulled my hair to one side and grazed his lips along my back from one shoulder to the other, unsnapping the clasp of my bra. He kissed the bare skin at the base of my neck and I closed my eyes, the warm softness of his mouth felt too good to make him stop.

2. Marking Time by April White - This is one of my favorite books from 2013. It's this crazy time travel paranormal romance. The characters are fantastic it's a romance between a time traveling teen and a vampire. The author has me impatiently waiting.
His lips were soft and their touch made my heart pound so hard in my chest I was sure he could feel it through his teeth. I couldn’t breathe while his mouth was on mine.

3. Blood Debt by Nancy Straight - One of my favorite YA Paranormal Romance series. I hear the conclusion is just around the corner. I can't wait to see how it's all going to end.
“Don’t be late tonight. If I don’t see you soon, I may combust.” His lips kissed my ear lobe gently before he pulled away. Tingles ripped through my whole body as I watched him walk to his car.

4. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith - I loved this book it was amazingly story that I had a hard time putting down. The characters were easy to connect with and you couldn't help loving the unique way they found love. I thought this was a great little swoon.
He looks down at her with his head tilted, his hand still firmly on her arm, and before she has a chance to be nervous, before she even fully realizes what’s happening, she hears him mutter “What the hell,” and then, to her surprise, he bends to kiss her.

The line continues to move around them and the customs official gives up for the moment with a frustrated sigh, but Hadley doesn’t notice any of it; she grabs Oliver’s shirt tightly, afraid of being swept away from him, but his hand is pressing on her back as he kisses her, and the truth is, she’s never felt so safe in her life. His lips are soft and taste salty from the pretzels they shared earlier, and she closes her eyes—just for a moment—and the rest of the world disappears. By the time he pulls away with a grin, she’s too stunned to say anything. She stumbles backward a step as the customs guy hurries Oliver along in the other direction, rolling his eyes.

5. Grasping at Eternity by Karen Amanda Hooper - I really enjoyed the first book I haven't read the second but I'm hoping to in the next month or two. I've been so behind on my reading. This is a sweet romance filled with swoony moments. This book also gave me my new love of Peacock feathers.
I opened my eyes and met his gaze. His lips cut through the invisible cloud of energy floating between us as he smugly—but sweetly— smiled. Before I could return the smile, his warm lips closed over mine.
It felt like the Earth fell out from under us, like we were floating into the sky. With each caress of his lips I floated higher, a whirlwind of electricity swirling around us. He gently pulled back, and I let out a moan of pleasure. He kissed each of my eyelids so softly it felt like silk brushing against them.
“Are you nauseous?” he asked.
I opened my eyes. “No, but my whole body is weak and tingly.”
“Yes, I know. Your knees gave out sometime ago. I’ve been holding you up.”
I blushed and regained my footing. “That was incredible.”

“That is how a kiss is meant to be, and I assure you, you did exceedingly well.”

I only picked my top 5 this week because I decided to share swoony moments that I enjoyed. I actually have all these books in paperback on my bookshelf as well as ebooks. I would read them all over in a heartbeat.

What's on your list this week?
