So, apparently Amazon is now going to pay it's kindle Unlimited & select authors by pages read. You can read more about it (here) What do you think of this? Share your thoughts!
My Answer:
Honestly I don't use the kindle unlimited or select. That being said I read the article it sucks for the authors. Personally I think Amazon is just trying to be cheap. I don't think the kindle unlimited plan is the best idea for the authors. For the readers it's great you have access to so many authors you would never have tried. It's a double edge sword because I don't think it's the best idea for authors. I like the approach that many have taken of offering the first in the series as a kindle freebie because more people are likely to buy the rest of the books after reading the first. I know I do.
