Book Club
So I wanted a local book club to belong to for ages because I love talking about books. I decided to start one of my own with a bunch of the Air Force wives. We have our first meeting next Friday and I'm super excited. It's at my house so I'm a little nervous after all I do have the monster puppy who likes to be in everyones face and is huge. I hope I don't scare anyone off.
Challenges
For this weeks goodreads game I'm reading Rainwater Kisses. My other challenges for the year are way behind but I hope to fix that by the end of the summer.
Book I can't wait on
The One by Kiera Cass comes out tomorrow. I feel like I've been waiting my whole life to see how it will end. I hope she picks the right guy even though I don't know who that is at the moment....Eek so excited and nervous. I ordered it didn't show up yesterday of course. I hope it shows up today if not I may have to get the ebook. I can't wait any longer.
My bookish obsession
I keep adding more and more books but can't seem to ever catch up. I just love beautiful covers, and synopsis captivating. I have this never ending TBR list that I hope to one day read every book on. I started a notebook with the name of the book and author so I can keep track and make some headway on my TBR list.

Doesn't this one sound interesting? I haven't read her books before but this one is a must for me.
Real life & Rant
It has been a crazy last week.
I had my wisdom teeth taken out on last Wednesday.
My hubby left for Japan on Thursday.
The next few days are quiet.
Last night I took my pup to the dog park. A unsocialized dog started a fight with my boy. I warned her ahead of time that Grimm was a puppy a really big puppy and tended to play rough. I told her to put him on the little side not bring him in but after a little time on the little side he was on the big side. Her dog the whole time tried to start stuff my boy was doing really well even though the little guy kept trying to get in his face. (Little dog with big personality). When Grimm dropped his stick her dog grabbed it. When he dropped it Grimm grabbed it. Her dog attacked him. Of course let's add that Grimm is over 110lbs while her dog is a 25lbs shiba inu. My dog's tooth put a whole in her dog. He was defending himself. Of course being way bigger it looks worse. While breaking up the fight her dog turned around and put a few holes in my leg. Her dog was so upset he kept trying to get Grimm after she had him pinned. I've never seen a dog so angry and wanting to kill my dog before. I had a long 3 hour trip to the ER. She didn't take her dog to the vet just cleaned it up. Which is what I would have done if it was my dog. My dog isn't aggressive but he will defend himself and we have had puncture wounds before many times. Dogs play rough. Dog fights happen. I always watch my dog because he is bigger than most. I don't understand why people bring unsocialized dogs to the dog park. I get you want to socialize your dog but maybe a controlled environment and watch your dog. I feel bad her dog got hurt. It wouldn't have been so bad but her dog went insane. In the past Grimm has pinned the dog till he calms down but this guy was fighting and going crazy. Of course it's my fault I'm the bad guy. My dog may have not gotten bit because of all of his fur but I'm the one with the battle scars. I'm glad I had jeans on it could have been much worse.
