Synopsis

Mature and explicit content. Not recommended for readers below 18-years-old. Yup, you've got to be that old to read my story. Consider yourself warned.

I’m Dakota Collins, a tough talking, eye patch wearing, workaholic photography student. Why am I important? Well, maybe because I get to spend an entire month with Vicious, only the sickest indie rock band out there.

You see, I needed a subject for my Spring Showcase introspective in order to graduate. During a chance encounter at a club I’d been sent to cover for the Daily Gossip, our ironically named college paper, the features writer I usually teamed up with introduced me to the band—by accident, I might add. It involved a run in with a scary, bald bodyguard. Anyway, long story short, I signed a contract to take pictures of Vicious.

I should have known their handsome yet way too serious for his own good bassist, Luka Visraya, wouldn't be able to keep his hands to himself. He’s gorgeous and all, but the way he smiles spelled trouble with a capital L. I’m in for a long month with him around.

Crazy shit happens and then some. So, if you want the skinny on Vicious and the events revolving around my stay at Lunar Manor, read my story.

Again, refer to the warning above.

Review
I received Savor in return for an honest review for the tour hosted by Paranormal Craving Book Tours. Dakota isn’t your typical pretty girl, she has an eye patch which she refuses to talk about. Guys don’t stick around because of the eye patch doesn’t scare them off her other scares will. Dakota’s a workaholic who avoid sleeping at all cost, because her dreams are intense memories that haunt her. When she shows up to take pictures for the college newspaper at a local club she didn’t expect to find the answer to her photography showcase in the form of a sexy guy.

When given the chance of a lifetime to photograph the popular band Vicious she jumps at the chance. The only thing is she has to sign a non-disclosure contract and stay with them for 30 days. Should be simple only Luka isn’t going to make it easy and the tension between them is thick. Thinking to solve all her problems right out of the gate she throws herself at him but he rejects her without telling her why. As Luka avoids Dakota she focus on the other band members putting together amazing photo shoots but looming in the background will be his. When Dakota wakes from a dream she finds herself in Luka’s bed? Will Dakota be able to share her secrets with Luka? Will Luka be able to share his own secrets with Dakota and will she accept them?

I like Dakota she’s broken but she’s moved on even if she’s still haunted by her dreams. I had tears of happiness when the band members were named because I remember them all for Taste. I was a little bummed at the end of Taste when Luka didn’t get the girl but right off I knew Dakota was destined to be his and I know I just loved her even more. I loved the characters in Taste and love them even more in Savor we got a whole new look at them.

I was tickled to see the tour invite go out. I honestly didn’t even read they synopsis because I got lost in the cover it’s beautiful. Besides Kate Evangelista is one of my must read authors. I love the concept of two broken people finding love, it’s sweet even if the book is a little steamy. Plus I love a paranormal romance with a twist which is exactly what Savor is. The author has created characters I easily connected with, taking the emotional adventure with Dakota. Plus what’s not to love about my favorite supporting couple Demitri and Phoenix from Taste they just enhance the story. The author has created a brilliant story that I was captivated from start to finish it was almost impossible to put down so I read it all in one afternoon. The story is a little on the mature side but I think older teens as well as adults will enjoy the book as much as I did. If you’re a fan of the paranormal this is a must read. However I suggest you read Taste first. I honestly loved everything about it.
5 out of 5 stars
