Synopsis

I killed a man.

That’s what they charged me with after finding me in the woods with a bloody knife, a dead body, and no memory of how I got there.

The case was over before it began…
until Ryker Kincaid stepped in.

Chicago’s most ruthless defense attorney.
My brother’s best friend.
The only man I ever loved.

He shouldn’t touch me.
Shouldn’t move me into his penthouse.
Shouldn’t look at me like I’m something worth saving.

But he does.

Ryker believes I’m innocent, and he’s risking everything to prove it.
His career. His reputation. His heart.

The price he demands is the truth.
Every secret. Every dark corner of my past.

But I learned a long time ago that honesty makes people leave.

I survived them all walking away.
I won’t survive losing Ryker.

So when the truth finally surfaces, there’s only one question left:

Will Ryker choose to stay…

or will I lose the only man who ever made me believe I was worth loving?

My Review

I received Doubt in return for an honest review from the author.

This is the fourth book in the Sinners and Saints series which features Ryker and Faith. The series is about five friends so the characters are all connected and part of each story. She's the sister of his best friend and as long as they denied the attraction sometimes you can only deny it so long. Faith is facing murder charges and it's up to Ryker to prove she's innocent before time runs out or she may end up spending her life in prison.

I've been waiting for Rykers story and his relationship with Faith is perfect. They have this undeniable connection even if they both try to avoid but that only works for so long now they are spending so much time together. I love Faith she's a sweetheart and Ryker has always been one of my favorites. The characters are easy to connect with you can't help loving them all.

I'm a huge fan of the authors books she's one of my auto-buy authors as I'm obsessed with her storytelling. I love every book of hers I have read each one has characters that I fall in love with that steal little places in my heart. A story that I have to devour in one reading session because I can't stop till the very last page. As with every book of hers I read it in one session completely hooked. I'm dying to get my hands on Knox's story and can't wait to see how it plays out. The series is dark romance but it's not to dark and it's a beautiful must read series and one of my favorites hands down.
