I thought the worst thing that could happen on Valentine’s Day was getting stood up.
I was wrong.
When my date ghosts me and I decide to confront him, I don’t expect the night to spiral. I don’t expect danger and I definitely don’t expect the quiet, intense man from down the hall to step in and change everything.
Damian Salvanti is calm under pressure.
Terrifyingly observant.
And far too willing to put himself between me and the world.
The more time I spend with him, the more unsettling the truth becomes.
He knows me.
My routines.
My fears.
The things I want but never say out loud.
Because Damian hasn’t just been watching out for me.
He’s been watching me…
Cupid Is a Liar is a dark, fast-paced Valentine’s romance featuring an obsessive, morally gray hero who falls first, a heroine who chooses danger over safety, and a love story that blurs the line between devotion and obsession.
My Review
I received Cupid Is a Liar in return for an honest review from the author.
This is a dark stalker novella where Damian happens to have cameras thanks to the prior owner in Hannah's apartment and has been obsessed with watching her. Yet he's never talked to her before but he feels like he knows her. When her online date doesn't show she sets out to give him a piece or her mind. Damian already knows he's a bad guy and decides he can't let her go alone even if he's not left his apartment in a long time.
I devoured this one in a hour and loved every moment of Damian and Hannah's story. The author has done a beautiful job creating a captivating story that stole my heart. It's a perfect balance of dark romance and just the right amount of spice. I'm a huge fan of the authors storytelling she's quickly become one of my favorite authors. I highly recommend if you are looking for a dark stalker romance that is always sweet. I can't wait to read the rest of the authors books. I'm obsessed with her books and I'm okay with that.
