The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post
Hosted by:

The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share new ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Happy Sunday Funday!

This week has been warm we've had the AC on most of the days. We have enjoyed the sunny weather but I have a feeling that the cooler weather is coming in the next few weeks.
Kids are in school, things have been quiet for the most part which is nice. It's given me a lot of time to figure out some plans for the rest of the year.

I've been slacking on the reading aspect recently it's just been in a reading slump the last few months. I've got a bunch of reviews to write but I need to sit down and get back into the groove. I haven't used my bullet journal either very much this whole month. I'm hoping October will be a start to a new cycle.

As I've been in a reading slump I picked a big list of books on my kindle for a Fall Reading List. I'm currently only 48 out of 250 on my goal. I'm hoping to get a little closer to 250 before the end of the year. Just a lot of reading and I hope that I can still hit my goal.

  1. Oh my gosh, what a blast from the past that New Moon quote! Also, I feel like a lot of people (myself included) tend to get into a slump between the end of August and the start of autumn.

  2. Two hundred and fifty books is a huge goal. It would be too much for me and I'd feel overwhelmed, I think.

Good luck in getting your reading mojo back!

  3. I've been reading a lot and busy writing reviews. October is a busy time on my blog. I expect I'll be in a slump afterwards. LOL Hot and humid hear and more to come. I started watching Supernatural from the beginning recently. Forgot how fun it was. Watching Once Upon A Time and American Horror Story now to catch up. Enjoy those new reads.

  6. I hope you can start with just reading some things you are excited to read. I find a genre changeup really helps me never slump. 250 is a huge goal. I may get close to it but I usually only expect to be near 150 which is basically around 3 books a week. Enjoy! Anne - Books of My Heart
