Trix is a cheeky, redheaded Hunter whose mind is consumed with thoughts of sexy Dragon shifter Lyre. He's gorgeous, amazing, perfect and doesn't know she exists. Well, at least that's what she thinks.

Lyre is an easy-going, good-humoured Dragon shifter, and has just one problem: he wants a certain red-haired Hunter, but he knows he can't have her. And when secrets from his past start to rear their ugly heads, things get even more complicated.
Now he's been assigned to find the next Relic, and that can only mean one thing:
He has to find his mate and claim her.

This is part one of three, and the two next books will come out every few weeks after release, with the box set coming shortly after that.

Warning: Sexual frustration ahead. But don't worry! As always, the HEA is a guarantee.

Review
Trix is a hunter working who now works with dragon shifters as they team up to stop the forsaken from rising up and killing anymore. Since a forsaken is a shifter/vampire hybrid a hunter like Trix can't take one alone. However, the only dragon she wants to work with hasn't joined the guild and is keeping her at a distance. Neither one can deny the attraction after that first encounter but Lyre has issues because he's not perfect that he's not worthy of finding a special someone. When he brother is injured in battle he needs to take his place to help the hunters and just happens to find himself with Trix. Will they be able to work it out?

I like Trix she's a fiery red-head who kills bad guys how can you not like her. She's had me at the start when she was getting her Tattoo of the symbol that just came to her. I like the chemistry between her and Lyre even if he doesn't feel he's deserving of a fiery red-head who he can't stop thinking about. It was interesting to have a hero with a disability even if it isn't really a disability because he could communicate with his mind.

I just read another by the author and saw that I had this one also takes place in the same world of the dragon shifters and hunters. I admit I should have looked first as this one does a little spoiling but I kind of had a feeling the prior books would end the way that they did and still plan to finish that series. I like the concept of the hunters working with the dragons to take down a common enemy. The Story is a fast-paced, loaded with action, and just enough romance to keep you wanting more. I enjoyed the author's writing style she tells an enchanting story that I found hard to put down. I'm looking forward to reading more of the books in the series.
