Synopsis
There's danger in the beauty...

Two years, six months, and twenty-five days. That's how long it had been since I'd seen my winged hero— not that I'd been counting. I'd suffered through years of counseling just to convince my friends and family that I wasn't crazy and knew he didn't exist.

But he did. And I was done waiting.

Days after college graduation I headed back down to New Orleans to retrace my steps and find Owen again only to find my life was about to get even crazier... thanks to the most beautiful and dangerous of all paranormal creatures, the Allures.
Teaser
“If I kiss you, will you promise not to talk about us? To forget about Pterons?”

“I can’t forget.”

“Will you try? At least promise not to tell anyone.”

“I can promise to try.”

I felt the bed shift, and I stayed as still as possible. Was he moving closer to me?

His lips brushed against mine lightly, but that small contact set me on fire. I reached up and wrapped my arms around his neck. The action did something to him, because the feather light kiss grew more fevered. I soaked up the salty-sweetness of his mouth. My entire body hummed and responded to his lips. His hands pressed into the bed on either side of me as he hovered over me, and I buried my hands in hair.

Review
I received Lure in return for an honest review from the author.  Two and a half years have passed since Daisy last saw Owen but she hasn’t forgotten him or his wings and she’s determined to find him again. She’s had to bid her time and attempt to pretend that she’s normal that the therapy is helping that it wasn’t real what happened in New Orleans but she knows the truth. Now that the chance has come to return for New Orleans for a job interview Daisy can begin planning even meeting up with her friend from the paranormal online site who she’s pretended to be in a long distance relationship with. Upon returning to New Orleans she heads to the art gallery as well as the voodoo shop to learn that both of them are gone and being in town makes guys even more drawn to her.

While in town she’s seen Levi who happened to be with Owen before but he tells her that he’s off the grid left town.  The way the guys are drawn to her has been nothing but a curse for her and when she gets an overzealous guy who won’t take no for an answer some hooded strangers step in. It’s clear to Daisy that they aren’t human but they are quick to help her find Owen determined to help her because what happened to her the last time she was in New Orleans ties her to them. Daisy sets off on a cross country journey to find the man she’s loved after one kiss but what she finds is a lot more. Will she find Owen? What about Seductions Kiss the spell the witch placed on her?

I love Daisy she’s just so darn sweet very girl next door who happens to be in love with one of my favorite paranormal creatures a Pteron named Owen. Typically I’m not a fan of insta love but Daisy and Owen would be the exception to the rule they just have this perfect fit together that just works. One kiss and they have been obsessed with each other for over two years they have that special spark.

When I received the offer for Lure I couldn’t wait to finish my current read so that I would be able to read Daisy and Owens story after the teaser of Seductions Kiss. Lure is a spin-off of the Crescent Chronicles but with a whole new element the Allures which is a new paranormal being that the series focus’s around. It’s the best of both worlds a little of my favorites the Pteron’s and the interesting Allures who I’m dying to learn more about. I love the way the characters from past novels happen to pop up in the book like Levi and Hailey they are all intertwined yet individual. Daisy is a great character she’s easy to connect with and I had a hard time putting it down I wanted to know if she would find Owen and what was happening to her. Lure is beautifully written it flows smoothly from start to finish capturing the heart as well as the imagination. Loaded with action, a mystery a little romance and loads of paranormal's some even with their shirts off. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and see how it’s going to play out. If you had asked me before I started which of Alyssa Rose Ivy’s paranormal series was my favorite I would have said the Dire Wolves with The Crescent’s in a close second but I think the Allures just stole the number one spot they are so unique. I just loved every moment of it.
