Top Ten Tuesday with Mandy!!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke And The Brookish. Who doesn't love lists. They make life easy! And fun!! It's always a never ending topic.

This week's topic is:

Mandy's top ten words/topics that will make her buy a book

1. Paranormal - Zombies, shapeshifters and vampires are my top three but I'm expanding into new paranormal creatures.

2. Dystopia & Post apocalyptic - One of my current favorites I can't get enough of these types of books. I don't even have to read the synopsis I just know I want it.

3. Dragons - I've always had a weakness for dragons. I am a huge Anne McCaffrey fan but I've been expanding into the dragon shapeshifters recently Yummy!

4. Debut - I can't help it since it's the first book by a author I just have to give it a shot. I've found a lot of gems this way.

5. Harlequin - I have a few favorites that I won't even read the synopsis I just buy them. Betty Neels, Renee Roszel, & Roz Denny Fox.

6. Kick-butt-female characters - I love a female character who doesn't need a man to protect her. So if the book is about a female character who kicks butt I'm all for it.

7. Horses - Since I was little I've always had a passion for books with horses so when I find one that happens to have horses/unicorns/pegasus I have to add it to my collection.

8. Do covers count? I'm a sucker for a beautiful cover. I will buy without checking out the synopsis in hopes of finding an awesome book.
