Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday with Mandy!!

This week's topic is:
Mandy's top ten favorite books of 2012

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke And The Brookish. Who doesn't love lists. They make life easy! And fun!! It's always a never ending topic.

I've enjoyed so many books this year considering I've read over 150 this year. It's so hard to pick just 10 so maybe I picked a few extra.

Cinder by Marissa Meyer - I had heard great things about Cinder so of course when I came across a copy I ha to read it, and I'm super glad I did because I loved it. Of course I'm dying to read Scarlet the next book can't wait to get my hands on it.

Coveted by Shawntelle Madison - I came across this one on goodreads while checking out the werewolf books and of course the synopsis had my curiosity peaked. I became a instant fan of Natalya she's a great character and my new favorite werewolf series. I'm crossing my fingers for a third book in the series after I finished the second book Kept.

Taste by Kate Evangelista - I picked up Taste as R2R from a goodreads group. Taste has one of my favorite covers of the year. One of my top favorites of the year I could totally see myself re-reading Taste with the new year and next book release.

Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire - I can't tell you how much I loved Beautiful Disaster once I read it. However I was on the fence before because everyone was so mixed on reviews. I received a review copy from net-galley and when I found a copy at the store I had to grab my own physical copy.

Forsaken by Kristen Day - I signed up for the book tour for the first two in the Daughters of the Sea series. The covers aren't anything amazing but the story that lurks within held me captive till the end. I enjoyed the first one but loved the second one and the cliffhanger is a killer but so worth it.

Derailed by Alyssa Rose Ivy - I loved Derailed it's a great story that pulls at your heart strings but leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy. When I received a email about the tour it was a no brainier for me I had to do it. I'm extremely happy that I did because Derailed has a sweet romance.

Bloodlines by Richelle Mead - I've not read any of the vampire academy and maybe that put me at a advantage because I really loved Sydeny in the series. I read a lot of mixed reviews so I didn't jump right in after purchasing Bloodlines but when I had the chance to read it for bingo I decided to give it a shot. Totally worth the chance, I've just not had a chance to read the second one yet and I'm looking forward to the third one.

Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood - One of the first books I won in a goodreads giveaway my sister and I read it together we both fell in love with the Cahill girls

Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning - I've heard so much stuff about this series with the release of the newest book. I decided to give it a shot as well and I became a die hard fan. I plan to read them with the new year.

Ephemeral by Addison Moore - This was the first Addison Moore book I've read it has a beautiful cover with a equally amazing story. I ran out and purchased the first in her other series and plan to start on it come January.

Born at Midnight by C.C Hunter - I had the chance to read Born at Midnight for a bingo game and I am so glad I did. It opened a whole new world for me. I picked up the second one the next day now if only I had time to read the rest but it's on my TBR list for 2013

The Color of Greed by Jack Thompson - I was offered this one for review and I'm so glad I did one of the best suspense mysteries I've read this year. The characters are great.

Frost by Kate Avery Ellison - My first Dystopia genre book so I was a little nervous but once I finished I became a addict and now Dystopia is my favorite genre at the moment. I can't wait to read the next one in the series and see what happens next.

What are you favorite books from 2012?
