RECKLESS: GOING FOR GOLD
World champion swimmer Justine Thorpe has arrived at The Summer Games in Rio where he plans to dominate in two events—collecting gold medals and collecting women. Little does he know his first conquest is going to make him want to give up his playboy ways for good.
Diver Giselle Tremblay allowed the wrong man to distract her at The Games in London, and she’s determined to never make that mistake again. But when tall, dark and Texan Justin Thorpe turns his sights on her, she finds his Southern charm and incredible body impossible to resist. Before she knows it, their attraction goes from a simmer to sizzling hot sex in the craziest places. Justin brings out the wild girl in her that she’s been hiding away for years.
Will Justin prove to be her undoing or exactly what she needs to make it to the podium this time around?
One thing is sure, it’s going to be wet, hot and sexy at the Summer Games this year.
Review
I received Reckless in return for an honest review from the author. This isn’t Giselle’s first time at the Olympics but after her big screw up last time she’s determined not to screw it up this time. Her goal is to keep her head down and focus on her diving no guys this time but she never expected to meet Justin. Justin is returning to the games intent on winning more gold metals, getting a little action and enjoying his time in Rio. He picks Giselle as his first conquest because of her glasses and reading a chunky book unlike all the other girls drooling all over him.

Justin is determined to win Giselle over because no girl can refuse him. Giselle is not going to give Justin the time of day she’s not willing to fall in love with him and have her heart broken before. Neither one is intending to get serious with each other, and when what should just be a fling turns into so much more. However, the more time they spend together the more it’s clear that this is what they need the most. Will they be able to make it work without risking the whole reason for being in Rio?

I like Giselle she’s such a sweetheart and Justin has some redeeming qualities even if he was a player at one time. He brings out the life in Giselle making her learn to live as well as helping her when she needs it the most to succeed at the games. The chemistry between the two is on fire, they just work so well together and I really like how it all works out between the two of them.

Reckless is a fast paced short story that captures the heart as well as the imagination. We are giving a taste of a world you don’t see every day, the pressure of being an Olympic athlete which I found exciting. This is my first book by the author her writing style is smooth it is easy to get sucked into Justin and Giselle’s story. I found it hard to put down I wanted to know what would happen next to the duo and finished the book in a few short hours. A steamy whirlwind romance with a perfect mix of story and romance that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I really enjoyed every moment of the book and look forward to checking out the authors other books.
