Review
I received Cheater in return for an honest review from the author. Alec has spent his whole life training to win the gold and this time he may just win. However, things at home have taken a spin for the worse as his mother slowly fades away with cancer. She wants him to go to win for her, even though he doesn’t want to go he accepts he has to. The night before he is due to arrive in Rio his mom tells him to arrive early surprising his team but little did he know he would be the one with the surprise. Walking in on his roommate and girlfriend together is just what Alec doesn’t need right now but when he makes a new friend she may just be what he’s been needing. Together they form a friendship that transitions from more than just friends but she’s determined to help him win.

I admit I was unsure of what to expect with the title Cheater but having loved Reckless I knew I just had to see how Cheater was going to play out. A emotional read right from the start it’s a whirlwind sweet romance that mixes to create an intriguing story. I love the chemistry between Alec and Collette he’s dealing with his dying mom and being betrayed by a girl. They are both sweethearts who deserve to be happy and Alec really does Collette for more than just his heart. I enjoyed the authors writing style she’s created a beautiful story that captured my heart as well as my imagination. It’s an emotional read but worth the tears because even in sadness Collette makes things better. I just really loved it.
